An unexpectedly detailed and fascinating account of the history of alcohol and how little we know about it. Cheers to that.

A cool collection I picked up at a local festival a while back. A shame they went out of business.

Reading this left me more baffled than ever about why anyone would want to climb Everest. Krakauer has written a fascinating, informative book that is also a heartbreaking memoir. I stayed up an hour and a half past my normal bed time to finish it.

I struggle with these noir novels because you can't sink your teeth into the characters. It was well told, and moderately interesting, but in the end, forgettable.
