Oof. This one gave me so many feels.
So much fun, and so much fantastic world-building. I liked that instead of the usual romance in fantasy books, O'Sullivan instead has really great friendships (including one with his talking dog).
My favorite part is that I live about fifteen minutes from where the story takes place, so I loved that I recognized all of the locations. (And yes, Rula Bula does have fantastic fish and chips, and an even better cocktail menu.)

I hate Connall almost as much as I love Alexia and Ivy. Which is to say, a lot.
A fun and surprisingly tense book.

But what the fuck was that ending, I was so happy about Bridget and Matthew getting together but now I am thinking Mable's ghost is back and in possession of the nurse?????
A fun revisiting of Dorian Gray. I loved that he was an actual character. Dulce was outrageously indecisive -- one page she would be ready for dinner, then the next she'd be hopping into bed with Dorian, then the next she'd be freaking out over how she didn't trust him. She also kept saying over and over that her aunt only cared for her for the money, but every time the aunt was in a scene she was very protective and caring. Overall, fun but nothing special.
It's like Kingsman, if Kingsman was incredibly boring. The inciting incident makes no sense, and it just gets worse from there. Nothing ever gets fully explained or satisfactorily ended. It doesn't feel like a Christie book at all.
The first chapter starts so abruptly that I thought I had somehow picked up the third or fourth book in a series by mistake. But no, Reents is just a terrible storyteller. Gave up after 44 pages.
