This was absolutely fantastic. Everything worked here, the plot was realistic but still tense and shocking, the characters were so fun especially Pip and I had an absolute blast reading. Gonna pick up the other books physically.

This was a good debut novel! Really fun premise that was executed well with strong world building (even if some minor stuff wasn't brought up until it was needed)

All the characters were great and Joyce our FMC was fantastic! Can't wait to read more.

I don't know how to feel about this one. About 70% of it bored me immensely and the last 30% moved me greatly.

The racism in this book is so overt it really put me off in places.

The last 30% was beautiful, even if they're all gone now. Can't believe Susan doesn't get to go to Heaven because she wore lipstick. Don't worry queen i'll write you getting in.

Definitely recommend if you're a rwby fan! I love how they connected very minor moments in the series to pretty major events and the expansion on both the world and team cfvy is excellent!

Overall this was just fine! The plot was basic and it takes about 60% of the book to get really good which is unfortunate but when it gets good it's really good.

Jill was fine as a character and Eustance was the highlight along side the Marsh-Wiggle. The villain was barely in it which is sad because her powers were cool.

Seeing Aslan's country and Caspian's death really worked however.

This was just lovely- While slow to start when it gets into the adventure it's just a beautiful book. Eustance was great and his little arc was so well done and creative. Lucy and Edmund were just as charming as always and an older Caspian was fun too!

The last 20% of this book was just glorious, the description and creativity used for the set pieces was amazing and it captivated me in a way the others haven't. Just very pretty overall.

My favourite book so far! Absolutely love seeing how our characters previous actions have evolved over time and I thought the plot, while simple, was executed excellently.

For once Aslan wasn't my favourite part of the book, but Caspian was. He was such a great character and I loved how willing he was to do good. Aslan was great as always however and the scene with Lucy and Susan going through the town really struck a cord with me.

Much much better that The Horse and His Boy, this was so charming and whimsical.

This has been my least favourite so far- the new cities and countries introduced feel off in a way I really dislike. The description of the world in this one makes it seem like C.S Lewis didn't like this particular bit of world building. Shasta was fine as a protagonist and Bree annoys me before he changes. Aravis was easily the best character.

Aslan as always is the main highlight and I love the idea that God can both harm and help you.

Overall this felt slightly tired, and overall not as nessecery as The Magician's Nephew.

I can see why this is so iconic- just as charming as the first, the world building is incredibly interesting and I loved the main characters here even more than the first. Aslan as always is the best part and the adaption of the Jesus myth is excellent. Very much worth the read!
