I love books like this where characters have real issues and handle them like real people would. Being careful of spoilers, but I loved when Nessa threw what was basically a temper tantrum. It was easy to get lost in the characters and in the world Jordana Blake has built.

I really enjoyed the very common tropes having uncommon takes on them (i.e. best friend's older brother, but she's cool with it). While I enjoy a good secret romance, these two were about as obvious with their love as two people could be.

Thank you Jordana Blake for the ARC, I really enjoyed visiting your world!

Massimo is obsessed with getting revenge on Nova's father and quickly becomes obsessed with Nova herself.  This book is filled with tension, spice and instant love.  It can be read as a standalone (I did) but I do think I missed out on a good bit of backstory/character development.

This book was wonderfully written and some pretty hot tropes right now.  It does cover some on page death and the FMC was abused pretty traumatically by her father.  Massimo is an alpha male and would do anything to protect his princess though.

Be aware of triggers and please reference! There are some pretty serious topics discussed in this book.

I jumped into this one without reading the previous books in the series, which always makes me nervous. I loved the author's writing style, so I do plan to go back and read the previous books. The author did a good job so I didn't feel lost at any point! JL Beck had a lifetime reader from me after this one. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

This book is dark, so please read triggers beforehand. I loved watching the character growth of both Arson and Lilian! I was kept on the edge of my seat for most of the book, it had a lot more twists than I was expecting. I can't wait for the next book!.

I really, really wanted to love this story with two esport gamers falling in love. I love the whole premise, but somethings fell a bit flat for me. The character's are on a break when we meet them but quickly get fake married. They were never out of love, just stubborn. I felt like they had a lot of issues that were quickly resolved with no real tension or consequences.  Also, this one is heavy on the family drama/familial burdens and maybe that's just not my cup of tea.

Thank you to the author for the ARC! It was cute (and spicy!) to see these two realize they are meant to be!

Thank you to Hannah Till for the ARC!  I really appreciated this opportunity and am leaving this review honestly.

This is such a sweet love story!  Ford and Emily have been in love since they were teens.  Told in-between current day and past, a story is gradually unfurled to reveal lots of laughter, tears and heartbreak. I enjoyed the ADHD and mental health reps, I loved that it showed more than just Emily being "quirky" or hyperactive like I feel it is usually portrayed in media.

If you like second chance romance, found family and slow burn (no real spice until ~75%), this is a great book to pickup!

Although I have an issue with the whole storyline with Caroline and Ford going back and forth, it felt borderline cheating and I personally would have a hard time with forgiving that

Yes, this book had vampires and gore and all the scary things. Yes, there were parts that made me cringe. But the true horror for me was Reese and the abuse she withstood. My heart broke for her. The vampires gave it a nice edge, and it definitely swayed the power balance even more in Michael's favor. I wanted so bad to reach into the book and help Reese escape.

The book had a great flow to it, with very few moments that felt unnecessary. Red Lagoe is an author to watch out for!

Thank you to Netgalley, Red Lagoe and Brigid's Gate for a change to read this ARC! My review is left voluntarily. I can't wait to see what Lagoe has upcoming!

This book was so good! The writing in this book was very crisp and flowed nicely - I can tell the author has really grown!  I really enjoyed that it had a book one summary.  Like the first book, it quickly devolved into some very scary, fast paced moments.

I also enjoyed seeing the human moments between Eli and Asher - the grief, the laughter and the bond.  Eli struggled with not only losing his family, but gaining a child and those facts weren't glossed over.  Mental health played a big role in this book and the real life consequences to their actions.

Man, this novel moves fast!  I love that. You're instantly dropped into the action with this book. I love the idea of a fake haunting becoming real.  The number one rule is don't mess with supernatural stuff and I think Felix did not learn that rule well enough.  There are some truly creepy/gross moments in this!

Thank you to the author for providing me a copy for review, this book was a hoot!

This book made me laugh out loud often enough that my fiancé asked what was going on. I really enjoyed it. This was my first book of hers and I am going to go back and read this rest of the series. The story flowed super nice, and I devoured it whenever I had time to read. I loved the dynamics between the main couple, and I loved how they were unabashedly themselves.

I love a man who's all in for his woman, and that is what Dalton was. There is spice and lots of it, so be prepared for that!
