I jumped into this one without reading the previous books in the series, which always makes me nervous. I loved the author's writing style, so I do plan to go back and read the previous books. The author did a good job so I didn't feel lost at any point! JL Beck had a lifetime reader from me after this one. This book is dark, so please read triggers beforehand. I loved watching the character growth of both Arson and Lilian! I was kept on the edge of my seat for most of the book, it had a lot more twists than I was expecting. I can't wait for the next book!.
