Took me a while to like this book, but it picked up once Pamela appeared. Jeff is kind of an ass though.

Cute polyamorous story between a human, a witch and a Japanese snow woman. My favourite part was how Sky named all her cameras.

This book was amazing but WOW they really just went and twisted the knife with that last sentence. My jaw dropped.

A lovely little pirate story. I'm eager to read the full-length novel.
Moderate: Death
This book was sadly a big disappointment to me.
Instead of fairytale rewrites, what this book does is use an algorithm to switch the genders in classic fairytales. It changes nothing else except pronouns and gendered words, to create "new" stories.
First of all, I don't think this is nearly as revolutionary as the authors believe. Second, even if I go along with their idea, I don't think changing "Beauty" into "Handsome" or adding a "Mr" to Rapunzel is actually in line with their thinking. If they truly didn't want to influence the stories with their gender bias, then the boy should still have been called Beauty, and Rapunzel could be a gender-neutral name.
The illustrations were nice, but other than that, I could have gotten this for free with a text replacer.

while rereading this book, i wrote a private list of all the scenes that felt like they could have been taken straight out of my life, and wow, there was a lot. it's incredible to feel like someone understands me, even if that someone will never know I exist.
this book deals very openly and honestly with taboo topics, including not only gender confusion but menstruation, sexuality, masturbation, gynecologist appointments. it definitely has some "uncomfortable" illustrations, but it's not meant to shock or arouse, it just... is. because it's part of life.

A very honest and deep memoir with beautiful illustrations.

I loved this story, but I feel like it could have been told in fewer words.

Wonderful stories and illustrations, well worth pissing off the government.
