At first I felt like this was slow and some parts a little eye roll-y (and there was a missed opportunity to refer to Phil as a nanny goat! Lol!) But honestly this ended up being such a great book! It even had me in tears, and that's not like me at all!

If you loved the movie Hercules, and you love all things Greek history/religion give this book a try! ❤️

Ruby has done it AGAIN!! Seriously all these stories should be really similar, but Ruby makes them each so unique! I always think they can't get any better, but she proves me wrong in the best ways! Jose & Haeden made me feel all the feels from beginning to end - the worst thing about the book is that I finished it lol! I need more!

I was honestly surprised by how much I enjoyed this book! I was thinking there would be more DnD style fights and the like, but this book is some of the most wholesome vibes that leave you with a good feeling! Highly recommend!

Uhmm.. OMG! The Twists, and then the twists within the twists?! CoHo we need a book 2 on this one! I kind of wish this had been made into the live action instead, it reminds me of the movie A Simple Favor! Seriously this book was so good, and I was NOT expecting so much spice I LOVED it! I haven't really read any thrillers being mostly a romantasy lover, but this was great from start to finish - some parts had me so mad I had to take a break and give my husband updates like I was giving some live play by play LOL!

Truly, if you like a good dark thriller to curl up on the couch and binge, this is your sign!

Plot: 11/10 - the way the events flowed just seemed so perfect, and did I mention the twists? LOL!

Spice: 8/10 - The spice was pretty good, especially from an author I wasn't expecting it from!

Overall: 9/10 - *Refer to the beginning of this review lol!*

This book was really good and was worth the wait! It was a bit slow in the beginning, and then felt a little too quick at the end, but overall it was the perfect blend of dark spice, especially for the Disney adults. ;) It reminded me of all the best parts of Hooked, and I couldn't put it down!

I will actually cry when Hades x Persephone is over, I am excited to see the stories of the other God's, but these two absolutely have my heart, and through Scarletts imagination I feel like I can relate so much more to Persephone, and I just love her relationships with everyone! I'm so excited for the next book after the ending this one had!!

The author reached out and kindly gave me a copy of The Bite.

I don't typically read books with shifters as the main focal point, but the premise of the book was really good! I highly recommend this to the girls who had that Twilight Era and were Team Jacob (I was a team Edward...just for the record

I was actually surprised by how much I liked this book, I felt like it would be good but not THIS good for a YA book (I'm more of a the more chili peppers the better if you catch my drift lol!

Okay now I thought I loved the first book, but this book? THIS BOOK?! I'll start with what I didn't like - there were some repeats of information and the mom thing was a buzz kill at times, but now that's out of the way I can't tell you how tight the hold this book had on me - my heart felt like it was sinking toward the end (that's not a spoiler, that's a warning to make sure you have Finale ready to go, thank me later LOL!)

I once again want to stress that I live on spicey books, but this is a YA that grabbed my ADD brain and hot wired it somehow without spice just some mild kisses - so when I say I loved this book, I'm tellin' you it takes a special plot to keep me interested, and I'm typing this at 11:45pm on a flipping Tuesday about to dive into the last book calculating how many hours of sleep I actually need to be a functional human for work tomorrow (divided by loads of coffee.... I'm thinking this is going to be a long night LOL!) If this hasn't convinced you to pick up the series then dear reader I have failed you LOL! See you at the Caraval!
