Okay now I thought I loved the first book, but this book? THIS BOOK?! I'll start with what I didn't like - there were some repeats of information and the mom thing was a buzz kill at times, but now that's out of the way I can't tell you how tight the hold this book had on me - my heart felt like it was sinking toward the end (that's not a spoiler, that's a warning to make sure you have Finale ready to go, thank me later LOL!)
I once again want to stress that I live on spicey books, but this is a YA that grabbed my ADD brain and hot wired it somehow without spice just some mild kisses - so when I say I loved this book, I'm tellin' you it takes a special plot to keep me interested, and I'm typing this at 11:45pm on a flipping Tuesday about to dive into the last book calculating how many hours of sleep I actually need to be a functional human for work tomorrow (divided by loads of coffee.... I'm thinking this is going to be a long night LOL!) If this hasn't convinced you to pick up the series then dear reader I have failed you LOL! See you at the Caraval!
