This is a bizarre, twisted story.
Malcolm, Blair, and Farrah Gilbert lead a very rich life.
One Saturday morning, intruders come into their home for two days of terror.... Demanding money, jewels, cars etc.
One of the intruders seem to be running "the show" and the other two have to do what he says.... But there is an outside source who is really in charge.
I didn't see that end coming! A very good thriller with interviews woven in of people who knew the Gilberts well. I want to read more by this author.

This book was so good and crazy.
Katie is such a strong 17 year old. She carries her family through their tough life after her mom died and dad is a no good father anymore. He was such a jerk! Her former best friend now "frenemy" Ashley Leigh (

While in parts this was an intriguing mystery, I felt some of the story felt off in places for me.... Losing my interest but then pulling it back over and over again!
Sisters Tai and Manon lost their actress mother 10 years ago. They are pulled back to their Mediterranean island home after their father passes. The mystery of what happened to their mother is still alive and well on the island. There is a mysterious manuscript that their mother was working on and they the sister find and read.... Wanting to set if it held clues to the disappearance.
I thought the script was beautiful and probably my favorite parts of the story. But (and I hate to say it) I didn't get along much with the rest.... Didn't much care about the outcome.

A beautifully written story of Paul's journey to find his true self. He takes a trip to Glastonbury and sees a soul reader. It changes his life and he starts trying to find all that really makes him happy. There are stumbles along the way, especially with his wife Mary, son Simon, and boss.
I truly felt that Paul found his true self!
I know want to go visit the Tor

I quite enjoyed this Historical Fiction novel on the building of the Brooklyn Bridge! It was often scary with accidents happening and killing workers. I loved that a woman was "mostly in charge" of the overeating if it being built. Emily was hardly ever afraid of getting in there and overseeing things. She had a rough go with her husband Wash for most of the book and that made me sad. It was interesting to put PT Barnum as a very good friend to Emily though historically, we don't know if they ever ran into each other even if he really helped financially with the bridge.
I listened to this on audio and I would recommend skipping it.. Just read. (The character we come to know as Albert sounds like it was one of the female narrators❓)
I am not so in love with this book as so many seem to be. I did love the Misery-esque aspect. I liked when I thought the "villan" was a woman.... Then it turns out to be a man.

Rebecca and Nicholas meet in a very unusual circumstance - she saves his half sister from disaster. This is a bit of a rough start but the two soon become friends.
Rebecca is so fun. I love a girl that knows her own mind. She loves defying the rules- as long as she can keep it a secret. She has a REALLY big secret - she is secretly engaged!
Nicholas tries the hardest he can to take the best care of his half sister Olivia. He is very kind but feels at a loss most of the time.
This story was so sweet. I had guessed at one thing that happens in the book pretty early on but even as it came out, I cheered!

I was so excited for this book! Turns out....I wasn't that into it.
It seemed so long with almost nothing going on.... With the exception of Anderson trying to get Ella/Juliette on his side.
I still love Kenji and his sarcastic wit!
I really have no idea what else to say but I was quite disappointed in it. It wasn't as good as the other ones and I actually don't remember much thinking back on it.

Cassidy has been teased by her peers as "fire girl" since an accident at age 6 killed her best friend.... While she survived.
Her now best friend Gideon, knows the real Cass and had always stood by her.
When bully Melody goes missing, Cass hears it.... And may have unknowingly planned it.
I felt so bad for Cass. She didn't deserve the wrath of all her peers. She didn't deserve to be an outcast. Even when she looked a little crazy trying to investigate what happened to Melody, I felt for her.
This is a very fast paced YA thriller with a tiny bit of romance (very tiny but there)

I was expecting this to be a creepy book and it may have started out that way, but I felt myself that it didn't stay that way.
Margot becomes an orphan when her whole family is lost in a car accident. She is taken in by the Sutton's to become a companion to their daughter Agatha. But Agatha doesn't do much at all besides sit at her window and stare out at the world.. Her mind is not there.
It soon becomes apparent that things aren't right in the house and it takes some very terrifying things happening for Maggie to start questioning everything.
I knew where the book was headed as I had guessed at what was going on but it was still quite enjoyable.
