I really enjoyed the author’s writing style. The characters were pretty fleshed out and the relationships that Jo had with her mom and dad were complicated. It was challenging to find the deeper meaning of the story and I didn’t so much like the ending.

Loved listening to Amy read this, so cool the hear about her journey in comedy and acting. I had no idea about some of the personal stuff she talked about. Some parts of the book didn’t age well, just because of the people she talked about. I would love to read another memoir of hers.

This is such a good romance series and I love it with my whole heart! The depiction of anxiety is spot on and I love Danika's character. The little things they know about each other is really cute and the subtlety is amazing. I want more!

The information in this book is very accessible and easy to grasp. I really appreciated the example conversations in the book to show how to use the skills he teaches. The skills that Christian taught in this book can be used for discussions outside of race too which made them even more helpful. Definitely have to read this if you want to be a leader or if you work with a diverse group of people.

Very cool to read poems from poets of Nebraska! There were definitely some I wanted to read more of. Really appreciated that the poets other books were listed with their poems!

I enjoyed this book a lot more than I thought I would! I expected it to be boring but it was pretty fast paced and I really enjoyed reading from Marianne and Connell’s perspective. The book alternates perspective in each chapter and the chapters take place a number of months apart. Marianne and Connells reasons for the actions are interesting to read about and also frustrated me. The characters aren't written to be liked but you are rooting for them strangely enough. At the end of the book the characters grow in some aspects but in others they haven't grown at all. 

Really enjoyed reading these poems. There were some unexpected funny lines in them. The lack of punctuation makes the flow difficult to get a handle on sometimes but I definitely want to read more of his work!

I feel like this book would have been more tense and exciting if I hadn’t seen the movie several times before reading the book. I didn’t know it was a book when I watched the movie though. I had a lot of fun reading it and the twist at the end is soooo good!

I was immediately thrown off by the first page. The book seemed to go REALLY FAST in the beginning, setting up the problem like immediately in the first couple of chapters and then took forever to get to the solution. The fight at the end wasn't long enough for me either. This is a good book for young adults and theatre kids.
