Was looking for a book on queer history — not whatever this was

This is the blueprint for YA fantasy, actually 

I found the layout of the pages incredibly difficult to read and was straining my eyes so badly I ended up with a headache. It’s a shame, I really wanted to read this one, but it’s just not a good idea. 

Was not expecting to like this one but !!! Actually unlikeable main character, excellent writing and an unusual concept — that’s a winner in my books. 

This book was straight up vibes with a cracker of a writing style and plot lines that came together nicely at the end — can one really ask for more?

loses a point for the author writing a lesbian character whom she refuses to actually call a lesbian—2015 called, they want their woolliness over sexuality labels back
