why must i insist on reading books that hurt me so beautifully 

New go to comfort reread just dropped

Gonna be honest, if I hadn’t read most of this by listening to the audiobook it probably would have been a DNF. Could have used a lot more Charlie. 

That was by far one of the best books I have ever had the pleasure of reading. Beautifully wacky, disarmingly emotional and gothically grotesque.

Great short story collection — on the whole great, didn’t emotionally connect to a couple the way I did to the others which was disappointing. Favourites have to be Cassandra After, The Great Awake and The Collectables. 

Questioning the YA tag on this given like the entire premise of Paper Girls and wondering why I persevered to the end tbh.
