DNF

This is a emotionally difficult book to read, but an important one. I always love reading from authors writing about events from their own culture and home. I am always seeking to read materials that pull me from my own perspective. Multiple times, I found myself crying while reading, sometimes with sorrow, sometimes with joy.

Hosseini's narrative style flows in a continual, natural way, the way that memories do. I'd like to read more of his books. I would also like to read the theatrical adaptation as well. This book is not for the faint of heart.

The ending was slightly confusing, but I thought this was extremely well written. This book is a bit disturbing, so read with caution. The audiobook version is well read by Stephen Park and Janet Song

An average, quick read YA romance. I enjoyed reading it, but I don't think I'll pick it up to read again.
