I love me some Pride and Prejudice retellings!! This book did not disappoint. Such an education to me as well into Muslim culture. It makes you think about stereotypes without slamming them down your throat. I enjoyed the characters, the story, the romance, the culture. Wonderful, light read. Perfect for spring/summer!!

Such a heartwarming story. I loved everything about this book. I loved the flawed characters. I loved the romance. The side characters are a delight as well. And everything basically wraps up. Perfect jump start to fun summer reading!!

Such a cute series. I just fell in love with the characters and their families. Such an accurate description of high school and first love. Loved all 3 books.
I really, really liked the first in this series. This was just ok. I enjoyed the characters, loved the ones that made an appearance from the first book. But the romance dragged a bit for me. The fact that Esme kept a secret from Khai until the last few pages seemed odd and just wouldn't happen in real life. And then he was like, oh totally ok with it. Huh?? Course, I still loved the style and story and will most likely be picking up #3.
Perfect summer read. Describes first love and growing up accurately. Characters are written so well you can picture having a conversation with them.
Couldn't finish, sorry book club. The book scares me, not liking it and not liking the writing style. I have read other works by this author and really enjoyed them.
Not sure how I feel about this book. What really happened? I liked the mental health take on the fairytale, but I am really confused about what was real and what wasn't. Huh. Didn't really make me feel all warm and fuzzy.
Super fun summer read. Perfect for the beach. I just loved the friendship between Maggie and Diane. It was written exactly how female friendships are in 'real' life. I just loved their banter. And I loved how they solved the problem together. I did kind of hope for a different ending, but it just couldn't happen. Loved the friendship between Lucy and Rachel as well.
Didn't finish not because I didn't enjoy the book-I absolutely did and I think it is a very important read for this time.
Didn't finish because bookclub reviewed it so indepth.

Delightful children's book for all ages. Full of magic in a post apocalyptic world where mother Earth is struggling to regain power and balance with the help of the guardians. Winter is a preteen just trying to get through school when suddenly she's the next human guardian. Valuable lessons, lots of action, quite a few characters, definitely reading the next one.
