I really enjoyed the character of Darrow and I really was immersed in the world, but I could not keep reading about the war games.  It got to be too much for me.  

It was just too sad for me.  One hardship after another, super depressing.  I need to read something happier at this point in my days.

It just wasn't for me.  I didn't like the romance, the characters and I wanted more history and heat.

I just keep putting this book down and NOT wanting to pick it back up.  It is not holding my interest at all.  I could care less about the characters.  Not wasting anymore time on it, it is just not for me.

Just too sad for me right now.  I knew they were all going to die, that's the premise, but I couldn't take the emotions.

I put this down over a year ago and when I went to pick it up again I just had lost interest.  Moving on...
