Joe is a struggling college student with a dark past, a bad family life, and relationship issues. He takes on more than he can handle when he signs up for a biography class in college. The term paper is to write a biography on someone who has led an interesting life. Joe decides to write his term paper on a convicted felon who has been released from prison because he is dying of cancer. Joe starts to question whether this convicted felon really did commit the crime. He gets pulled into family drama and soon he is solving a 20 year old murder mystery while trying to keep his head above water. Quick, predictable read, but very much enjoyable.

The perfect book to cuddle up with during this freezing cold winter we seem to be having! I have not read the first 2 books in the series and I am wishing that I had before reading this one, but I got the gist of the characters and story enough to really enjoy this cozy romance. Zach and Jessie help each other out during a horrific Maine blizzard and discover that they have feelings for each other that are more than neighborly. Very steamy, quick romance with a lot of totally relatable banter. I enjoyed this read very much. I liked that it featured a biracial couple and didn't make it the focus of the book. I enjoyed the side characters. It was a bit slow in the middle, waiting for something to actually happen other than another sex scene. Gemma has been working for Jack for 2 years now. She knows everything about him personally and professionally. She is his legal counsel and right hand person, controlling his business daily. Gemma is also in love with Jack, course he doesn't know it. He goes through women like dirty socks, all because of the early death of his wife. One day the sexual tension gets to be too much and they end up going to bed with each other, but is that enough for Gemma? Jack can't give her anymore. Can she still work for him?
Steamy hot read. Loads of sex scenes if you're into this kind of read, then this romance is for you. I enjoyed Jack. I found Gemma a bit cold. I actually wished the author would have gone more into her past so we could find out why she acts so cool. I enjoyed the book.

Robert Langdon is at it again. Running through Europe, searching for historic artwork and symbols all to save the world from a deadly plague to be released by a mad man in 24 hours. As usual he has a lovely lady as a partner, who has secrets of her own. Lots of characters, lots of twists, lots of fun. I did skim some of the scenery paragraphs to try to get to the good stuff towards the end and the beginning was a bit slow, but once the action got moving I had a hard time putting this one down.

It has been a long time since I have been in high school, but it seems like not much has changed. Lol. I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I loved the characters, I loved the story and how it was told and I loved the ending. Please let there be more. Yes, it was slow at times, yes it was stereotypical, but such a great message. So many great quotes.
