4.5 stars! What a whirlwind of emotions from the queen Laini Taylor. If you've read Strange the Dreamer, you know how beautiful Laini's writing is. This book is no different in that regard. Her writing is beautiful, but in a modern setting.
Not sure how I feel about the instalove, but Karou is such a badass. Such unique story felling and types of characters that you don't often see in YA. This book has rich, beautiful story telling, and you won't want to put it down.

4.25 stars feels right on this. First and foremost, I'm not a big fan of the romance Cress gets involved in. I won't go into detail, so as not to spoil it, but I think it's a bit too cliche and I'm not feeling it. The rest of the book was really amazing though. I didn't actually enjoy the previous book as much as I though, but I am digging how Cinder is handling everything and continually developing as a character.
I feel like this is setting us up to an epic conclusion, and I'm eager to see where we go from here.

This was a very satisfying conclusion that left me on the edge of my seat so to speak waiting to find out what happens. I am happy with the way it wrapped up and how the characters wind up.
I liked this a lot more than I was expecting to. It did what it needed to as well. made me hate Levana even more. It also filled in some spots that aren't addressed in the main books. It was a very good novella and makes me really excited to read Winter.
Sometimes when books get really hyped up, I am nervous to read them. What if I don't like it or don't think it's all that good. Well... that was NOT the case with Six of Crows. Every good thing you hear about this book IS ABSOLUTELY TRUE! I can't believe how amazing these characters are and how attached I have become to them. I would literally die for Kaz... he's that amazing. I actually got my husband to laugh at some of his lines that I read to him. Aside from that, the story was incredibly rich and vivid. I felt like I was in the story and experiencing each chapter with the characters. I gasped a lot and there was one point I wanted to throw my book. But it was a good thing. I can't believe how much Leigh improved in between the series. I loved the Grisha trilogy, but she really went a step beyond with SoC.
We definitely need more heist stories in YA fantasy, but this satisfied every desire I could ever have for one.

I have no words. I couldn't put this down. This is either a 4.5 or 5 star rating. I'll write a real review when my thoughts settle...
This is powerful and I now understand why there is so much conversation about it. You are in the head of a rape victim trying to cope with the aftermath. I think everyone needs to read this.
Takes me back!!
This book takes me back. I loved this book as a child and I can see why I did! Ralph is so full of personality. Keith shows such a love for animals too. Definitely read this if you never have.
