I loved this book, I really did. But the ending was unsatisfactory and left me wanting something different.
But overall, I liked the characters, loved the dragons, and Queendoms are amazing.

There is not much action in this book. It is very plot driven. So keep that in mind if you're going to pick this up because it is long. I don't feel like it ever dragged though.

Definitely recommend and I hope we see more out of this world eventually.

I'll say it, the show is far superior! I'm actually really surprised this got picked up by Netflix. In my opinion, it's just not good. I don't like the art style, and the only saving grace is the story, which honestly is not as good as the show. You can hang me at the stake now if you like! I probably won't read the other volumes.

I enjoyed this, but got really annoyed with the main character, Elle. I understand that she had a difficult life, and was thrown into a COMPLETELY different world, but she was SO whiny. And all she did was complain about the culture and traditions of her Japanese family. If she wasn't complaining half of the time, it would have been a lot better. Although that was annoying, the interactions she had with her father were very sweet and made my heart happy.

I loved being thrown into Japan! Japan and Japanese culture speaks to my heart!!!

Overall, this wasn't a bad book and it was entertaining. I suggest if you think it sounds interesting, definitely pick it up!

3.5 stars. The shock at the end I wasn't expecting, but I didn't care about the characters until about 60% through. Mostly it was a bunch of whiny people who don't have big problems. This book did cover some domestic violence and bullying issues.

I'm pretty meh about this book though. I could take it or leave it, hence the rating.

I loved this book! My husband saw the cover (the original cover) while we were at B&N and did this, "Looks like something you would like." Well he obviously know me well because I did.

3rd reread- still obsessed

3.5 stars
I was not paying attention at the beginning and was confused for a second until I figured out what was going on. I thought these little side stories were cute and a nice little pick me up. I definitely recommend for a fan of the show, but if you haven't watched the show, you'll be confused.

4.5 stars!! So much better than the first book.
Legendary follows Tella and is full of twists and turns!

OMG THIS BOOK CAPTURED MY HEART!!!!
I always have high expectations for a Beauty and the Beast retelling. Let me tell you... Harper and Rhen are my FAVORITE!!!

This book has the magic needed to be Beauty and the Beast retelling. The character development is so beautiful. Not only does Harper develop into potentially one of my all time favorite characters, but Rhen develops as well.

Do yourself a favor and read this book!

I could not put this book down! It is about 2 best friends who attend college on opposite ends of the country. The book is stylized in emails and texts, with them communicating about their experiences without each other. It was a very heart warming and emotional read.
