I’M SORRY, how is this a debut?!?!

The story was so intricate, and the 👏🏻 dual 👏🏻 timelines(!!!!)

The ending did feel a bit rushed (hence the 4.5), but, wow, Ashley Flowers has already become an auto-buy author for me!

I want a sequel, but would also be equally happy 😉 with a spin-off that follows Margot as a crime reporter!

May the Getaway Collection be my first (and hopefully not last) foray into thriller short stories!

The music in this audiobook is 🔥

I was really enjoying this one (and laughing out loud at some of the ways Christie’s characters came across), but I have to say, the big reveal was extremely lackluster for me.

This is my first Christie where, once the whodunit was revealed, I felt betrayed. It was very much a slam my book closed on the train, only to reopen it because maybe those last dozen pages will tell me something different…

HOWEVER, still three stars from me because Christie’s sass and wit are ALL over this book, and I loved getting to know the ridiculous characters her mind made up.

WOW, my first Jennifer Hillier and definitely not my last!

The way the story was structured in this one really kept me captivated from the beginning to the end. Also, I want a prequel spin-off where we see Drew launching his podcast 👀
