The Body in the Library
by Agatha Christie
I was really enjoying this one (and laughing out loud at some of the ways Christie’s characters came across), but I have to say, the big reveal was extremely lackluster for me.
This is my first Christie where, once the whodunit was revealed, I felt betrayed. It was very much a slam my book closed on the train, only to reopen it because maybe those last dozen pages will tell me something different…
HOWEVER, still three stars from me because Christie’s sass and wit are ALL over this book, and I loved getting to know the ridiculous characters her mind made up.
