This book has been on my shelf forever! It just never felt like the right time to read it. We follow Elena, a vine witch, who was cursed for 7 years before she finally freed herself. Finally returning to her family vineyard, she discovers that it's been sold to man of science that refuses to have anything to do with magic, there is a witch practicing deadly blood magic, and her hidden past is making her look like the culprit.
I enjoyed the story, but felt like the historical aspect wasn't hitting right for me. I feel like that's just because it's been a while since I've read a true historical. Jean-Paul and Elena definitely have a romance going, but the story focuses more on everything else.
I loved the friendships Elena made! I wanted more of Yvette and Sidra. I wasn't expecting the twist at the end, and wish it was more drawn out instead of rushing to conclude it. The real action came when Elena finally confronts the witch using blood magic, and Ooooh! That was my favorite part!

This one was just wow. I expected the usual "break the curse" story, but this was so much more! The setting is creepy, haunting, gives you chills while still being light and making room for all the banter between Doreen and Ambrose🤭 The plot mixed with the romance SO well! I was constantly needing to know what they would uncover next, then be giggling over their bickering.
“𝑾𝒆 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒎𝒂𝒏𝒚 𝒇𝒂𝒄𝒆𝒔, 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒕𝒓𝒖𝒕𝒉 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆 𝒖𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒓𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒔 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒘𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒐𝒔𝒕.
I loved the multiple POVs. They weren't given in a way that said "Doreen POV" or "Ada POV". It was a little confusing the first couple of times, but was super easy and immersive once I got the hang of it. There's so much going on in the present, the past, and with everyone else that if it were delivered any other way I feel like it wouldn't of hit as hard.

The character relationships and development? Top notch. This was a love story torn from a generational curse caused by forbidden love. There were no bad guys, not really and when I tell you I CRIED😭 And that ending?! I was SCREAMINGGGG

A Circle of Uncommon Witches has made me put all of Paige's books on my TBR. I'm absolutely in love with her writing style now🖤 Thank you so much to the author, NetGalley, and St. Martin's for the gifted copy!

This one was GOOD! Grace was more realistic for someone who gets thrown into a fairy world. She believes she's on some kind of reality TV show and I laughed so much over her thinking Brannik was a fake😂
Brannik is something ELSE🥵 I absolutely loved that he treated it like any other hunt - at least until Aurora pointed out it doesn't always work lol.
This was 4 stars for me simply because of the carnival magic. I loved that Grace can summon actual things like Olivia does with food, but I'm just not that big in carnivals or fairs even though I understand their magic goes off of their emotions until they get control on it. Grace and Brannik are adorable and I can't wait for Sturmm!

I really can't get over this series. I loved Warlord, but Renegade tops it. I had so many more emotions with Krivoth and Taylor🥹 There were a few times I cried. The romance and spice are on par with the previous book, but the relationship is one that grows. Both Taylor and Krivoth grow as well.

Taylor is an absolute badass. Who takes out the sluagh like that?! And the action? My heart was RACING y'all! I'm just as invested in the romance as I am the overarching plot😩

I just love this series sm. Each couple is something different, and I feel like it shows more of the community of the Moon Blade Clan! Onto the next 🏃🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️

This was SO cute 🥺 Ashley and Dravarr have it bad for each other even with Dravarr thinking she's not worthy at first. I was side eyeing him SO hard😒 He learns from his mistakes though! I loved the growth in both of them!

The sluagh and ogres added just enough tension and action to keep me interested in the rest of the world. I'll definitely be binging the rest of this series! I absolutely need Krivoth's story😩

This was a great ending for Vexxion and Tempest. I loved all of the battle scenes and how everything came to light. I'm absolutely garbage at riddles, so I'm just as confused as the MCs which makes the reveals so exciting for me!

I wasn't expecting the betrayal in this one. I honestly don't see how I didn't see it 😥 My heart was absolutely CRUSHED by it.

I am excited for Reyla's story! She deserves her HEA, even more so after discovering her past🖤🖤

I was immediately sucked into this one! The world was established pretty quick and focused on the relationships majority of the time. There are so many secrets that I can't wait get unravelled through the rest of the series! I'm honestly a little stressed about what Tempest is going to do when everything starts coming to light 😅
𝑺𝒉𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒎 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰, 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕𝒐𝒓.
Vexxion and Tempest are in for it 😮💨 Both of them are reluctant to trust, which I totally get, but I also feel like a lot of what's going to happen could be fixed by opening up just a tiiiiiny little bit 🤏🏻

So much fucking heartbreak happened already and I'm not sure if I can take anymore in the next book! I cried my eyes out. I knew it was coming-it's in the blurb-but it doesn't make it ANY less devastating 😭
