I’m writing this the next morning because there were no words for me to describe how this book made me feel. I thought after I slept on it I would be able to write a pretty thorough review, but I’m still at a loss.
Just read it. PLEASE😭 That’s literally it. I expected a mystery/thriller with a paranormal element, but I got so much more than I bargained for with The Broken Girls. I was scared, looking over my shoulder to make sure Mary Hand wasn’t at my house. I cried—a lot. Like, ugly cry with snot reliving what Katie, CeCe, Roberta, and Sonia went through before their time at the boarding school and during. And knowing what “Good Night Girl” meant absolutely fucking ruined me! I also went back multiple times to reread the Prologue every time a new, big piece of the cold case was revealed. Everything slowly kicked into place through the entire book and I loved it!
My heart was ripped out, stomped on, and put back in my chest by the ending. This was a top tier read for me! I’ll recommend it to any and everyone🥹 Now to go add the rest of Simone St James books to my cart and tbr🏃🏻♀️➡️

This was such a great mix of a sweet insta-love romance and action! Adom and Belle were instantly in love, but that’s always okay for a short story/novella read. They were so accepting of each other and absolutely adorable. The spicy scenes were spicing as well🔥🤭
The few action scenes we got of the Trolls and Charlotte (the real princess) were tense and had me eating up the words. I loved that we get an epilogue from Jorge’s POV that leads into the next book. I already wanted to continue with the series, but that had me interested for all different reasons!
I’d definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a monster romance with the Beast from Beauty and the Beast. There’s insta-love, “you can’t run from me”, arranged marriage, hidden identity, and meddling gods!
Thank you so much to the author and Grey’s Promotions for the gifted copy!🖤

That was one insane cliffhanger😩 Deadwood is so full of secrets and hidden betrayals. So much happens, but there was such an amazing pace! Nothing ever felt dumped on me, and I loved knowing nothing but what Auria knew. We get Bowen’s POV in Part II, and I absolutely loved it!
The world is super magical and unique. Sentient and bottled magic, dragons, magical mines, and so much more. I feel like there was so much foreshadowing and important bits sprinkled throughout the whole book and I’m terrified of accidentally giving a spoiler 😭 This was my favorite type of fantasy. Give me tiny piece by piece info until the bigger picture is thrown at my face! I still have so many questions and between that, the characters and the cliffhanger, I cannot wait for book 2! I can feel that a lot of shit will be going down and I’m ready for it.
I loved Auria so much. She really is naive, but she’s got a fire and learns fast. My girl just wanted to have one last hurrah, but got so much more than that🥺 Bowen and the group are incredible. Each one of them! I love Raiden’s quiet but caring way, Flynt and Siara’s sibling squabbles and back and forth, and Bowen treating Auria like she’s not beneath him for not knowing anything. Also his absolute obsession with her!
After the way Deadwood ended, I have so many thoughts on which way Karley is going to take us in the next book! I already know this will end up becoming a favorite series of mine🥹

This was so perfect🥺 All of my anticipation for the final book in Brides of the Moon Blade Clan series was done justice. I still don’t know who my favorite couple is. They’re all so special in their own way with different struggles. I really loved and related to May and Aldronn’s struggles. They made such an adorable couple!
Everyone coming together for the grand finale had my heart soaring! I loved seeing everyone again, and the over arching plot really picked up the heat. I was either swooning over May and Aldronn or on the edge of my seat through the action.
I’m SO excited for Faking With the Fae King! I cannot wait to read about Hannah finally. I’m hoping with my whole heart that we get an even bigger reunion eventually that includes Brokk. I’d feel like a kid in a candy store having all of my favorite Orcs back together again😍🖤

This was everything I wanted and needed for the end! All of the action kept me on the edge of my seat and Talan and Nia had me either swooning or stressing.
I was so worried the entire time about all of the lies Nia has held onto. It was such a relief when everything finally started to come out. I loved getting to see more of their powers. Nia grew so much in this final book that I’m sad there won’t be another🥹
The ending made my heart feel so full. I can see such a bright future for everyone and it was the sweetest HEA🖤
