Sheila does it again🔥 I couldn’t put this one down. I fell in love with her writing after reading Song of the Dark Wood, and I loved this one just as much! A Legacy of Stars is a next-gen spin off from her Lost Gods series, but you don’t have to know anything about the series to be fully immersed in it. There are some spoilers for the series, so be mindful if you haven’t read it.

I’m a sucker for deadly trials and forced bonds😩 I will never get enough of them and this had BOTH! The trials were deadly, intense, and full of action that left me on the edge of my seat and frankly, stressed 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘶𝘤𝘬 out. Stella and Teddy were the definition of “love and hate are different sides of the same coin” and I ate it UP👏🏻👏🏻 Prank wars, “I hate I can’t control myself around you”, and the kind of love you get from building and holding on through the ugly.

The rebellion from the Sons of Endros going on in the middle of all of this added to the stress and already high tension that Teddy and Stella had to deal with. I was just as interested in who was behind everything and who could be part of SoE. I never saw it coming even though I should have, and I hope this isn’t the last we see of SoE because I still have so many questions about that!

𝑨 𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒕𝒂𝒍 𝒊𝒔 𝒂𝒏 𝒐𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒔𝒎, 𝒕𝒐𝒐. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒑𝒆𝒐𝒑𝒍𝒆 𝒊𝒏 𝒊𝒕 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒊𝒕 𝒄𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒏, 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒊𝒕 𝒇𝒆𝒅, 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒆.

I don’t know. I’m still so confused about everything. There were answers, but not definitive because we still have no idea what is real and what isn’t.

We’re put into the POV of Margaret who has a very rare autoimmune disease. She’s all but given up on life until she’s elected to participate in a new treatment to cure it when there is none. Everything is shady from the get-go. There isn’t a lot of information on the study, but she goes along with it anyway. I don’t blame her for that. It’s either give up or try, right? What’s the worst that could happen?

There isn’t much that goes on the first 60%-70% in the book other than Margaret going through the day to day lab test, withdrawals, and trying to keep her sanity while being stuck in a hospital ward. I really liked the fever dream and “what’s reality?” aspects, but I felt like I had to drag myself through 200+ pages to get to anything juicy. I’ve read medical thrillers/horrors before and while this was definitely creepy, wtf, and who to trust, it was too slow paced for me. I did love that the ending was left open for another book. I’d most definitely read one about this next phase, even if it’s just to satisfy my curiosity over everything and everyone from The Graceview Patient!

Holy😭 I am the luckiest girl alive rn that the rest of the series is already out and this ARC was for a revamp! I’m in tatters. TATTERS over this book!

“𝑰 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅𝒏’𝒕 𝒔𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒎𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝑶𝒍𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒂. 𝑩𝒖𝒕 𝑰 𝒔𝒘𝒆𝒂𝒓 𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑰’𝒍𝒍 𝒃𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒎𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒊𝒇 𝑰 𝒍𝒆𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒖𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒂𝒎𝒆 𝒇𝒂𝒕𝒆.“

Olivia is fierce and will fight to protect what and who she loves no matter what.  Her anger and grief throughout the book are palpable and I cried enough for everyone😭 I just wanted to hug her, Roman and Amara. They deserve so much! Roman is a fucking force. He is gentle when he should be, but doesn’t hold back in the slightest when Olivia needs hard love. He is absolutely obsessed with her and I LOVE it!

“𝑰’𝒍𝒍 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 ... 𝑰 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔 𝒍𝒊𝒇𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒎𝒆, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑰’𝒍𝒍 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒏𝒆𝒙𝒕.“

Now the plot? The juicy, juicy plot… I’m eating it tf UP😩 I could not get enough. I love a good time travel and this one didn’t disappoint one bit! I can see what Sara means about all the small things leading to one giant bang. I saw a few small bits and cannot wait to start linking everything together! The end? My heart DROPPED. Bottomed out, in my butt, at that revelation. I just kept screaming “no, no, no” and “yes, Olivia! Yeeeees!!”😂 I’m already starting the next book on the series. I’m a whirlwind of emotions😫

This was spicy and ADORABLE 😍 I’m obsessed with Meghan’s writing style and I will definitely be eating up every single novels part of this series!

Kiran is such a cinnamon roll and the sweetest alien ever. He’s so understanding and has no problem asking for help when he needs it. That man(?) is on a mission once Thea meets “Willy” and I love it🥹 Thea is independent with a “need no man” attitude and life-style. Kiran completely 180’s her life, but with the help of her best friend, Wren (who I absolutely loved btw) Thea realizes it’s okay to be scared of love and to want to need something like that.

They are adorable together. They fill my heart with so much love and I cannot wait to devour the next!🖤 Thank you so much to the author and SunnyBabe PR for the gifted copy!

Oh my gosh! Where to even start with this one?! I loved it. Absolutely loved and DEVOURED it. I started reading this morning while enjoying my coffee, couldn’t stop thinking about it while cleaning up the house, and ended up binging it the rest of the day🥹 I am SO thankful that Victoria is doing a rapid release for this duology so I only have to wait a couple weeks! I would be dying otherwise😅

𝑺𝒉𝒆’𝒔 𝒉𝒐𝒎𝒆.
𝑴𝒚 𝒍𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓. 𝑴𝒚 𝒏𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕𝒎𝒂𝒓𝒆.

After arriving at Blackthorne University, Sylvie’s twin, Lara, goes missing. Something is wrong with this University, but she can’t quite put her finger on it or the draw she feels to Professor Lucian Draedon. With the help of her new friends Rebecca and Nicole and the secretive Prof. Lucian, Sylvie is quickly sucked into an ancient prophecy, bonds that span lifetimes, and a fight with an ancient order intent on wiping out supernatural beings.

𝑰 𝒘𝒊𝒍𝒍 𝒅𝒐 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒊𝒕 𝒕𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝒕𝒐 𝒑𝒓𝒐𝒕𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒕𝒐 𝒔𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒉𝒆𝒓, 𝒕𝒐 𝒌𝒆𝒆𝒑 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒃𝒚 𝒎𝒚 𝒔𝒊𝒅𝒆. 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒇 𝒊𝒕 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒔 𝒅𝒂𝒎𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒚𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇 𝒂𝒍𝒍 𝒐𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒈𝒂𝒊𝒏.

Sylvie’s distrust in everyone had me in her corner no matter what she would have chose. I was with my girl to the end! So much is going on while my girl just needs a second to absorb it all. I loved the friendships she made with the girls, and while Lucian came off like an ass a few times, it was what she needed in the moment. I love that he never sugar coated anything for her.

“𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒅𝒐 𝒏𝒐𝒕 𝒇𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒇𝒂𝒊𝒓, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒏𝒐𝒘, 𝒏𝒆𝒊𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒅𝒐 𝑰.“

Lucian finally coming clean and Sylvie’s reaction was everything. You could really tell how much she had grown in such a short amount of time. The ending was one extreme cliffhanger and I NEED to know how it ends😭 I cannot believe what I just read! I’m so excited to see her fully come into her powers and see how her relationships with everyone develops🖤

I devoured this! It was so easy to read and digest everything thrown at me. While a lot was kept secret from the FMC, Willow, we get Caleb’s POV frequently enough that things are filled in pretty quickly. I loved the disability rep of Willow having ME, and that it played a part in the plot with how her dreams and drawings would drain her.

Caleb and Willow have a ton of trust issues with each other, which was understandable lol. Willow reacts about you would expect, but they come a long way while on the run and on the way to pack lands. I was NOT expecting everything that happened at the end. That was one hell of a cliffhanger that left me in tears over them😭 I expected such a different outcome after finally meeting with the shaman. I’m excited to get to the next book and hopefully get some more answers and at least a small bit of closure over these two🥹
