This was a fun read.
The descriptions are amazing and I loved the characters.
The plot itself was a lot of fun.

This was such a fun and entertaining read. It was so much like the shows, that I remember anyway, and was great because of that.
Just an all around fun read, a good one if you're looking for a break from serious reading.

I very much enjoyed reading this book. The characters were wonderful, loving, hateful, mean wonderfully written characters.
You feel for them all, heartbreak, sorrow, happiness, loneliness, everything in between. It is all there in this book. And so well done as well.
The characters grow and change, become something they weren't at the beginning of the book but something that was so very them.
Life moved these characters as life moves us all, things that happened changed them, helped them to grow, in many different ways and I think that is what I loved about this book the most.
Life moved them forward and the reader follows.
Highly recommended. To any and all readers.

I honestly should save this review for later, when my brain can wrap around the thoughts running through my head. But to be fair I think it would end up being too thought out.
This book is amazing. The characters are so well written you actually want to hit one of them, slap a couple more and just give a few large bear hugs.
The writing is amazing.
But this book gives you so much to think about, my brain is still trying to figure out exactly what happened at the end.
Not in a sense that the writing was confusing but what happened beneath it all.
A great read, something that would be wonderful to discuss with others for long lengths of time.

ReRead

This is the second time I've read this book. But it was quite a long time ago.
I enjoyed this book just as much as the first one and it's so much fun to follow Brennan in her investigations.
I love that they really get into the science of it instead of being vague about those steps.
I will continue to read the Brennan series and I'm sure I'll one day have them all.
For now, I recommend this book to fans of the show Bones, and to anyone who likes a good mystery dappled with personal tidbits and relationships of the main character.

The author gives us a wonderfully thought out world with characters and places, animals, lives and histories that you can get lost in so easily.
I sometimes find it hard to get into some fantasy novels because of the fact that a lot of authors use names that are hard to pronouce when you're reading it and it really takes me out of the story.
This book had just the right amount of new and amazing things coupled with things we know and already understand.
The names of places, people and animals were not at all hard to pronounce nor was there any trouble in remembering who a certain character was. They are introduced slowly and in such a way as to make an impression of each and every one of them so when they return later you know who they are and where they fit.
I was lost in this book for hours and it was wonderful. I'm definitely going to read the next one in the series and see where this story goes and how the characters develop even more.
It was wonderful to see this world through the eyes of the characters and watch not only the world but the characters change as you move through it.
Don't be intimidated by the number of pages, each one adds to the story and it all flows very nicely from chapter to chapter, before you know it you'll be done and wanting more.

The plot really ebbed and flowed in this book, it seems that the big chunk of it that's really important are the flashbacks that occur throughout the whole book.
The main plot seems to stagger from a calming assuring thing to something that's almost unbelievable in the story itself.
There are a lot of twists and turns.
The characters themselves are almost hard to describe because of the way the story goes. The main character seems to float more in the middle of being and not which makes it hard to really understand him.
There are parts of the story that had me scratching my head from the math they were throwing around but other times it was clear. It was obvious what he was going through but not always obvious why he chooses what he does next.
I'm not positive about how I feel about this book but I don't regret reading it.
To be honest, though, everytime the main character called his wife kiddo I was thrown so far out of the story that I almost gave up reading it

This book was very good.
It reminds me a lot of The Breakfast Club. In this book they are in a class with a teacher because it was either the class or getting kicked out of school.
You get a lot of what The Breakfast Club does, students that would never talk in school get together and the teacher is there but for the most part he is there to keep things civil.
The class only goes for so long but they get to know each other and at the end it was learning how the other students lived that helped to change each of them.
I highly recommend it and it is a short read that I found I couldn't put down.

A very fun and entertaining book on business, hiring, working, and the reasons why meetings are just bad for business.
