I didn't find the writing to be very compelling, and there were parts in what I read that needed to be reworked. I did look up some spoilers for the book and the rest doesn't seem like my type of book in any case.

It just isn't the style of story telling I enjoy.

The book was pretty slow in the beginning, at this point I ended up looking up a summary of the book and decided I just didn't want to finish it. 
It's a good book but it just wasn't for me.

I had other books I had to get done, was interesting of what I read and I do plan to pick it up later

Did not have time to finish this book at the moment, I am planning on picking it back up in the future.

Wanted to track all my reading for class. 

The MC talked about two characters already as if she would like to have a relationship with them and I like my books with less.

I couldn't really stay in the story, there were parts that felt disjointed, and the switching of POVs seemed quite random. And there were parts where the history of a place or person was told but felt like it was put into the story very randomly.
