Still Alice
by Lisa Genova
This was a very eye opening book.
Most of us know what Alzheimer's disease is in the most basic sense but this book really shows what it can do. and what it can do not only to the person who has it but to those people around them as well.
The characters are well written and the family dynamic and the way it changes is entertaining and something that you really get sucked into.
It's a little bit scary reading this because it could happened to anyone and there's so much we don't know about it.
A great read, a lot of eye opening things happen, but the characters and their life stories are so great from behinning to end in this book.
If we weren't already reading it for book club I'd recommend it to all of them.
