This book was so adorable! It was such a fluffy, fun, romantic stroll through a fairytale!
I loved our FMC, she was so sweet and kind. The way she spoke to animals was absolutely adorable! She was such a soft and girly female lead, I loved it.
Put male main character we’re not exactly original, but they were sweet. Asher was the calm, cozy, logical male, Dair was the broody, tortured grump, and Bast (my favorite) was the joyful exuberant golden retriever! They were all different and sweet. Overall we saw second chance love, hate to love, and friends to lovers all in one book!
I loved how Ivy not only developed her relationships with each man individually, but she also helped them grow closer together with each other.
While there wasn’t much plot, I still enjoyed the classic Cinderella moments that were weaved in. Especially finding out who the “fairy godmother” was! That was such a cute little detail I wasn’t expecting.
I’ll definitely be following this series of interconnected standalones. I have feeling the author’s writing is just going to improve as we go!

HOLY SHIT THIS GOT INTERESTING!
This series is a SLOW BURN and we FINALLY GOT SOME HEAT! AND I WAS NOT EXPECTING WHO WE GOR IT FROM 😭
No but actually we’re really starting to see Isobel come into her own in this book. You can see how much her character has started to gain confidence and I love the way each of the alpha’s has started to contribute to that.
We got to know a lot of the alphas better in this one. Kalen started to be more involved and WOOOOHOOO AM I EXCITED. I’m really excited to get the professors in involved.
We also FINALLY found out what the alpha’s are planning! The larger plot becoming clearer.
Overall, I’m really excited. I’m hoping in the next book we get some L bombs dropped. I need feelings and desperation and worship to come into play here. These alphas need to admit they want her not because of the bond but bc they love her gd it 😭

OMG AHHHH I loved this book too!
Literally devoured this book in a day! The slow burn is KILLING MEEEE I CAN BARELY HANDLE IT!
WE FINALLY GOT SOME KISSED BUT OMG
I think Oscar Sato is my favorite now! The way he was with his sister literally melted my heart. I loved how we got a peek into some of the Alpha families and settlement life in this book. We got a lot of character exploration and some world building too.
Also, we got some new developments in Isobel’s abilities. She can see and talk to the dead. This is really interesting aspect to her power.
I miss Kilian, I need more of him! But Cian, Oscar, and Kalen were the ones who started getting more time. Niko finally got on the page too and Moses is starting too as well! I’m really excited to see how Isobel starts to bond with them all individually.
And that ending!!! What was that?! I should have KNOWN but I didn’t want to believe it was too good to be true!

Ooooo I gobbled this right up!
This is such an agonizing slow burn, I’ve been craving this! I was literally kicking my feet at a pet name and a hug, it was sooooo good!
There are so many characters and we only got to know a few of them well in this book. I love Theo and Kilian. Theo is such a golden retriever and Kilian is such an Angel baby! I think he’s my favorite as of now.
Still I think Sato has A LOT of potential and I also really liked Cian. His character growth was the best of the guys I think. I wasn’t expecting him to become such an interesting character in this book!
I also really loved Eve’s friendship with Isobel! It was so cute having a fun girly friendship.
Overall, there are SO many moving parts to this plot too. I have a feeling everything is going to be pretty detailed and complex in that department. You have to read carefully to catch all the details dropped in.
I’m diving RIGHT in to the next books.

I’m so conflicted with this one!
On one hand I did enjoy it and the characters. I really liked Ana and Rhett. I’m such a sucker for a bodyguard forbidden romance. I also enjoyed that Ana and Rhett were not enemies or have a needless “hate” for each other. They bickered a bit, but it was for fun haha
This book had everything I typically love.
But I just don’t think I was a fan of the writing style. It felt choppy. There were points where I was like wait what? And would have to go back to check because I missed something important.
The pacing was off with lots of time jumps that you might not notice at first either. Important moments at the end of the chapter were suddenly abandoned in the next with “two days later…” which left me wanting. Tension would build and build and then it was just… deflate.
I will say there was a lot of loving parts to this plot and that was very refreshing. There were lots of characters, lots of bad guys, and it was all pretty exciting.
There was a big cliff hanger at the end! So beware you’re gonna want to jump right into book 2!

Honestly, no notes.
This was JUST what I needed right now.
I’m obsessed with Gideon and Rune. Rune is one of my new favorite FMCS. She witty, cunning, a girls girl, feminine and badass at the same time…
The plot of this was quick, true enemies to lovers, and so so charming!
I wanted to hate Gideon but I couldn’t help but love him even knowing where his choices would lead him.
Alex’s character I knew was going to destroy me but I let him take me by the hand anyway *sobs*
The amount of quotes I will think about for days is beyond indulgent. I WILL be rereading this book again!

I’m not sure what was in the pages of these books but it was ADDICTING.
I need say I get it. I get why everyone is obsessed with The Crimson Moth. I can say, I am too now!
I didn’t realize how much I missed YA romantasy. There is something so whimsical and charming about the writing in them that I missed so much! This duology took my back to my roots. It made me feel that clench in my heart and chest the way I did when I was 15!
While I enjoyed the flow and pace of book one a little more, the tension between Rune and Gideon mixed with the never a dull moment plot, kept this book fun and exciting.
Despite not being wholly original or unpredictable, I was just so heat poundingly possessed by Rune and Gideon I could not look away and devoured both books in 2 days! Ahhhh!
Rune, my baby girl, has my total heart. Her character was amazing. She wasn’t the classic snarky, anti-girly girl fantasy FMC. She had a soft, feminine side she embraced, she has women close to her that she loved and fought and would die for. At the same time she was badass and independent and brave!
Gideon, oh Gideon. How I hated and loved you so much! This was a true enemies to lovers and Gideon really tested my will and patience! I wanted to slap him so many times and say YOU IDIOT NOT ALL WITCHES ARE EVIL! And I did really want him to grovel a bit after book 1. Still, he has some of the best lines in this book and he made me love him despite it all 😭
Honestly, I think this book had enough plot and complex characters and politics to make this into a trilogy. But, I am satisfied so we’ll leave it at that.
I will miss Rune and Gideon so much!
