I loved this book! Zoey is one of my favorite authors, especially of the sci-fi romance genre. I can never get enough of her books, characters, worlds!
I think this was my favorite or this series so far! It was so sweet, and cozy, and angsty too! I loved Erina’s character. She was soft, and lovely, and creative! I felt a lot of myself reflected in her.
And of course, our MMC grew on me greatly when he got in his knees and groveled!
I think it might be time to maybe reread some hordes books! Or maybe finally time to read the horde king of shadow? Ahhhh!

This book might be my faveoite in the series so far. I think Azued and Alex may have surpassed Theo and Jade for me and that’s saying a lot!
I thought the pace of this couple’s romance was literally perfect. Alex and Auzed spent so much time together. I also loved the forest city setting and the new type(?) of Clecanian we met. The world building keeps getting better!
This was also fake dating, grumpy transformed into sunshine by another sunshine, and honestly it was pretty slow burn too.
I also adored Wilson’s little character too!
Overall, I just loved Auzzy so much and Alex was such a fun fmc too. They’re romance was adorable and delicious.

This installment was fun!
I was really enjoying it up until they reached the city and the miscommunication reserved it’s ugly head.
I loved the forest setting of this one and how there was a lot of bonding time with these two characters. I really liked Verrako and Lily’s dynamic and banter too.
I liked how Verrako was a Clecian who was different. I was excited to get into the Clecians who are more different than humans. It was so cool that he camouflaged, had fangs, and even a different overall culture than the previous city we were introduced to. Can’t wait to get some horned, winged, etc love interests in this series!
Overall, I think I liked this one better than the second. But Theo and Jade are still my favorite!

This one wasn’t as good as the first book. Mostly I just didn’t connect to Luka that much and the overall progression of his relationship with Alice was sweet but underdeveloped to me.
I also found the overarching plot points to be pretty slow in this book. I found myself wishing it would go quickly so I could get to some of the other couples I’m excited for.
Overall, it was cute and there wasn’t anything I disliked really.

I was skeptical in the beginning because it was pretty slow to start. The main couple didn’t meet until about 30% into the book. I wasn’t expecting that from this genre so I almost put the book down. But I’m glad I pushed through!
I ended up really loving Jade and Theo. Theo was such an insecure little guy in the beginning and I loved watching Jade bring out his confidence by complimenting him. This is usually done in the reverse and it was so adorable seeing the woman uplift the man like that. Jade was confident already in her own right.
There was just enough plot to keep it interesting and I can see how that plot will continue into the other books of this series. I’m so tempted to read these books out of order because there are specific men I’m excited to read about, but I’m going to try and stay in order!

I picked this up on vacation and wow. This is a short story everyone should read. The writing is simple, but intentional. Each word is chosen carefully and while it is definitely a short disturbing horror, it is also a poignant early feminist work.
It feels almost wrong in a way to review it considering it is based on not only the author’s personal experiences but the way many women were treated during that era. Still, it was well worth the read and I’m sure I’ll read it a few more times.

I absolutely adored this trilogy(?)/series! Although I think some of these characters keep appearing in book 4.
My only qualm is that it wasn’t longer! I think the plot of these three books could have at least been 4 books on their own. I’m not ready to say goodbye to these characters or their romance! There is still so much more potential for growth for all of them!
Overall though, a fantastic series!

I honestly don’t think I’m doing these books justice. I reading them so quickly on my kindle when I should be SAVORING THEM.
They have everything I want. Time travel. Romance. Ancient history. Why choose. Found family. They worship her like a goddess. She’s a literal goddess. Gods. Ancient Myths.
Literal just perfection.
I’m only hesitant because I don’t see how this series could wrap up in the next book because there is still so much we don’t know and so much that needs to be unveiled before other things can happen.
I am definitely considering getting these books for my shelves.

What a gem of a book. It combines two of my guilty pleasures, time travel and RH! I’m actually obsessed and have such high hopes for the rest of this series!
