Rellik Bentley sure as hell is to die for!

Wowsers, this book really is a mindf&^k!

I loved the parallels between Ryder/Katie and Rellik/Ella.

At times I didn't know whether I wanted to slap or hug Rellik - perhaps both at the same time? He is such a messed up soul and even though he is such a dick at times, you can't help but want to help him, to fix him.

And dear Ella, she is such a strong female lead, I loved that she was fierce, she went after Rellik/Ryder for what she needed from him, and was not one of those simpering "I need a hero" kind of girls.

This is a dark, gritty, suspenseful book, and has left me with quite a book hangover.

It is one of my favourite books by Ms Mummert to date.

full review to come when I get over this book hangover!

I have been anxiously and impatiently awaiting King Tomb from the minute I finished reading King Cave.

And I was not disappointed! I was curious how the story was going to go, after the shocks at the end of King Cave. You will remember that Lily and Ezra were separated, they had been "mind raped" with all memories of each other wiped from their mind - NOOOOOO!!

The Mys/Com war is going full steam ahead and our Kings and Queens are spread across the world fighting. But Lily and Ezra are not kept apart too long - even if they don't remember who the other one is to them. Oh, and don't forget, Lily was pregnant with Ezra's baby at the end of King Cave so it is interesting how that all plays out!
Oh, and even better? They soon find out who the other is and what their relationship is. It is not drawn out till the end of the book, it is dealt with and done!
Now, just wait till you meet Isador - Isadorable more like it!!W

Ezra is one sexy beast. Gah, can't get enough of him, even when he is being an arse! And when he is being a dad - swoonworthy!

There are some real surprises in this book. There is one particular character that has so much to do with what has happened in the last book and now, and I was completely taken back by it - though looking back maybe I shouldn't have been?

We get all the Elders back. I especially love Antonio and Cahal (you remember, Lily and Ezra's dads?) And even if you didn't before, you will looooove them by the end. There is just something about them that put a big ol' smile on my dial - and it will you too!!

I wish we had gotten more of Jack and Pearl. I know this trilogy really is Lily and Ezra's, but Jack and Pearl were such a big part of the series, especially second book that I just wanted more of them!

The thing that kept this from being a 5 star read for me was the last 10% of the story. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it, but it just seemed to wrap everything up too quickly and too easily. I liked the conclusion and where the story ended up, but the way it all happened just didn't seem to fit in with how the rest of the trilogy went, if that makes sense?

Ms Dawn has created a fantastical, wonderful land that I just want to lose myself in over and over again. I am sad to see this trilogy end, but I know that she will create more wonderful places for my mind to visit.

Oooh how I love the boys of Reckless Beat!

This is the story of Mitch and Alana' s bucks/hens weekend in Vegas.

And wow what a weekend it is!

from naked romps at the Bellagio to things so sad they got me right in the feels. I laughed, I cried, I couldn't help but love these guys and their ladies more than.I did before

now can't wait to read Mason' s story, it's gonna be a killer!

Anyone who has read my reviews knows that I am a sucker for a rock star.

I had previously read the first book in this series, Three Nights With A Rock Star, so I was happy to receive the second book in this series, One Kiss With A Rock Star

Although this is the second in the series, there is enough back story that you could read this as a standalone and not feel that you are missing too much.

We first met Krist in the first book, where he was quite heavily interweaved into the the story of Lock and Hailey. And I have to tell you, I always liked Krist more than Lock. There was something about him that just got to me.

And I was not disappointed with Krist's story - at all!

In the aftermath of what happened in the first book (which you will find out quite early on in the piece if you don't read it), Krist is at a bit of a loose end. Enter Madeline Fox, pop goddess extraordinaire and seemingly the answer to all his PR nightmares - but is she?

I loved the chemistry between Krist and Maddy - even when he couldn't stand her there was more behind the dislike than meets the eye. The air around these two is combustible, just waiting for that spark to set it all alight.

And when it start- man oh man is it hot hot HOT!! Seriously hot. Melt the paint off the walls as you are a fly on it hot!!

I hated the way the PR machine manipulated both Krist and Maddy, but especially Krist. My heart broke for him over and over as things happened that were out of his hands. And all the while I was just hoping that this pair would get their act together and realise this wasn't all there was to them.

I loved the banter between Maddy and Krist - even when they were sniping at each other with meanness, there was still affection behind it all.

Do they get there HEA? Will the media tear them apart? Will their careers make it through this minefield?

Uh uh, for that you are going to read for yourself.

I love that we got more more of Krist's bandmates Lock and Moe, and am really looking forward to Moe's story - it is going to be one heck of a ride we are taken on with him!!

So if you are after a book about sexy rockstars, not so pure pop stars and a love that no one expects - give One Kiss With a Rock Star a try.

Poppy is the 3rd book in the Behind The Words series by Savannah Stewart, and though it could be read as a stand alone, I would recommend reading the other two books first.

I just gotta say, I love Poppy! She is a one of a kind lady, smart, successful and knows what she wants.

And what she wants is Riley. But she can't have him and it is killing her inside, a little each day. When she finally gets her chance with him, she blows it.

I could understand why she did what she did at the time - Riley was in the "off" in his on again off again relationship with Alexis. Gah, god I hated Alexis, she is a selfish cow that i just wanted to slap

Or did I want to slap that sense into Riley? The more I think about I wanted to beat the sense into Riley for keeping going back go her.

My heart broke over and over for Poppy as she tried to get over Riley. As much as she wanted him, and the attraction between them was off the charts, she tried everything to get over the man who held and shattered her heart. And I cheered for her with every attempt. And may have shed more than one tear with her.

We got lots of the whole gang from the previous two books. It had been a while since I had read Jayde so I had forgotten some of the things that happened with the Jayde/Nate/Cash/Sawyer dramas, so that got me right in the feels again as we saw it from Poppy and Riley's POV.

So, can Poppy and Riley get over all the obstacles in their way to find their HEA or is there just too much going against them?

For that you are going to have go read for yourself!

Ms Stewart has written a series with characters that you cannot help but love (or hate, depending on who they are!!). You get drawn into their world and feel like you are in the room with them as they go through their daily trials and tribulations. You will laugh, cry, scream and shout with them.

I look forward to what she has for us next.

A ballerina turned assassin? Let me at it!!

awe met Kira/Tia/ Tatiana in You Can Call Me Miranda and caught up with her in Keeping Thyme, and now we get the whole story.

We knew she flew off to join the Russian Ballet, but things are not always what they seem.

And buy, things really weren't as they seemed!

TJ Hamilton takes us on one hell of an adventure!

Starting up where Keeping Thyme ended, we are taken on a non-stop rollercoaster ride, never knowing what was around the corner.

But what I want around the corner is a Luka. Through past and present tense we get the story of Tia and Luka and I gotta say I think he may have taken over from Nick as my favourite of Ms Hamilton's men. There is nothing not to love about him!

Through the past tense we also learn what happened to Tia back when she first got to Russia, and OMG it is heart breaking. But you can never keep a tough Aussie woman down and I loved how she fought through it all to get where she is today.

There are some great secondary characters, and I especially liked Boris

There are a few WTF moments that will have your head spinning. But we don't expect anything less from a TJ Hamilton book.

Can't wait to see what she brings us next

I love Christmas, it is pretty much one of my favorite times of the year.

So the chance to read these 5 Christmas novellas from 5 fantastic authors I jumped.

Each and every one of these quick stories or a huge a-hole on my dial. I am not back fan of insta love relationships, but these being novellas you know that there is no other way for it to be so it didn't bother me like it would in a full length novel.

I loved the sexy hot men going after their women. loved that the women weren't whimpering, simpering wo is me kinds. they are all strong independent women taking on the world.

But the one that really did it for me - and he does every time he is in a book - is Mr Drew Evans..... Sigh I didn't know that I could love him more, but I could.

If you are after some sweet sexy Christmas loving, this is a great place to get it!

Starting right where Fall ended, this was a great continuation of the Cold Mark series.

In the aftermath of the events at the end of Fall, Braita is on the run, trying to get to her best friend Jax.

Hmmm not sure how I fell about Jax in this book - but then again, maybe all is not as it seems?

I love the Plumas of the West - even as they do what they do and the are what they are, you can't help but love them.

Love how strong Braita is, even as her world seems to be falling apart.

The story line flows well, I am invested in the characters and am looking forward to seeing where we are taken next
