Awww, who doesn't love a book about a booklover?
Our lovelies, Jamie and Briar, are younger than the other books so far, but they are also more mature and know what they want in life.
But neither of them have it easy - Jamie is run ragged with work and school and cows - MOOOO! - and Briar is trying to escape his past, and has maybe, finally, found his place in the world.
They are so cute and adorkable and sweet with the love of their favourite books helping them fall for each other - even though neither of them is looking for it or feels that they are meant to get a HEA.
It s frustrating at times, and I wanted to slap some people around their ears with a hardcover, however I loved how things all came round on the side of good - eventually.
Loved seeing more of the guys from Vino and Veritas, and want more and more and more. And maybe a HBO series (so we can get all the sexy times!!)

What's not to love. Have read this book over and over and over and never get sick of it. Jane Austen just had the knack of getting it right with her books.

A new Kindle Alexander book - let me at it.
I have adored all the KA books I have read to date, so it was a no brainer to pick up Reservations.
And whilst I liked it, I didn't love love love it like I have their other works (oy that pains me to say!)
I freaking adore Levi from the minute we first meet him. He is smart and sexy, and more than a little reserved. When he is with his brothers, sigh, my heart ached for him, but also grew with so much love and respect for him.
Thane. Hmmm, well I did have my issues with him. He is kind of a spoiled brat when he doesn't get his way, then steamrolls over everyone who doesn't fall at his feet.
He is a bit of an ass. And I love Levi all the more for standing up to him.
Now I am going to say something I never ever though I would say...
I found Reservations a little too wordy. Gasp, I know what you are thinking. It is just to me that there was some things that just seemed to loop, and the story would have felt better if 40 or 50 pages were cut - but this is probably just me.
Levi's brothers are the awesome and I hope we get more of them in the future somewhere.
I loved the characters from KA's other books making an appearance. We got glimpses of Arik and Kellus, and Dylan and Tristan. And my favourite secondary character from other books and this one Julian.
I can't wait for Julian's story.
Bring it on, Kindle Alexander.

Raise your hands if you have ever received one of those spam emails saying the emailer has caught you watching porn and wants bitcoins or they tell everyone *raises hand*
Only that email didn't lead me to a police station, or an Officer Hot Pants.
Oh, the naivety of Bree leads her to some life changes!
I like Dax from the start start, but he did frustrate me at times, taking on the sins of the past. Ugh, I wanted to slap some sense into this otherwise great guy.
I liked that Bree had a backbone and told Dax what she thought, instead of being a simpering woman going all woe is me.
There was great chemistry between the chemistry and the cop, and whilst for me it was all a little bit insta-love (that is my issue, nothing to do the book or anyone else) I liked the direction the book takes us.
I have been enjoying these zodiac books, and an looking forward to seeing where the next one takes us.

You know when you pick up a JP book you are going to get a heartfelt, wonderful story that you are going to fall in love with.
But this time, I just didn't. I like the characters of Taylor and Pierce for the most part, but as a romantic couple? Nope, just didn't feel it, at all.
I think it was because there was such a fuss made at the beginning about how there was no sexual attraction between them, the deal they made etc, that when they fell into the sex-trap, to me there was just nothing really there.
And I got so frustrated and mad at Taylor at times for things, that that also took away from the heart eyes feelings I should have been having.
Things did speed up and get better in the latter half of the book, but not enough to bring my rating up - sorry Ms Probst

This should have been called "why narcissists shouldn't breed".
Holly and Cam are horrible people, and there was nothing to like about this short. I only kept listening to see if things got better. They had to get better, right?
Wrong. So, so wrong!
Kudos to Stephen Curry for his narration, the one good thing I have to say.
I am just glad that this was a freebie and didn't spend my hard earned on it - and I NEVER say that
