Yaaaasss more World of True North books! I could keep on reading this world forever!
Remember the book store and wine bar from the other books? Well, this is the setting of Featherbed, and it is the beginning of the store and bar too, so you won't miss anything.
I did laugh at how our lovelies met, and it could have lead to a bit of c@ck blocking - or would it be chicken blocking in this case? But our lovelies Harrison and Finn ran with it and give us an adorable and sweet and sexy story that had me laughing and smiling and swooning.
Yep, I love the buttoned up bookstore owner and the sexy farmer (but for seriously, I live in the country, in a farm town, where's my sexy farmer?)
Wonderful strt to the Vino nd Veritas series, I can't wait to dive into more

If you have read any of the Myron Bolitar series by @HarlanCoben,then you have met the enigma that is Windsor Horne Lockwood III
I was like a pre-teen at a One Direction concert when I found out that we would be getting a Win series.
And I was not disappointed with Win.
This book is just so Win-ny. There is something about that man that over the years just makes me smile big. But we are seeing a side to him that has been hidden before, and I like it.
Throw him in the middle of a murder mystery, and he is at his best. Just when you think you know what is happening, we are thrown another curve ball. So many red herrings that will have you chasing your tail. So just go with the flow and let the story unfold before you.
Now i have finished this book, would it be too much to ask for another book next week, Mr Coben?
Because I need more.

I will admit, after reading the first book inthe Solving For Pie series, I wasn't exactly jumping up and down waiting for the second book. Engagements and Espionage just wasn't my favourite Penny Reid book out there.
I am glad I read Marriage and Murder, as I liked it more than I did E & E.
Cletus, Jenn and the extended Winston family are again embroiled in a mystery and mayhem, and I love the way they all band together to free the innocent and get the bad guys.
There were some heartbreaking, but also some LOL moments to be had
Whilst this is not my favourite Penny Reid series, I still want to read where it goes in the future.

Book 1, Featherbed was a light and cute and funny story, and Heartscape was the opposite.
It was heavy and heartfelt and sad - but still completely adorable too.
Tanner and Jax are both suffering PTSD of some sort, and it is not always an easy read on my poor, soft heart. But it not all doom and gloom, and it is lovely watching along as they fall for each other. They are perfect for each other in their way, as they both heal themselves, and heal each other.
Gah, it was just lovely.
And has left me wanting, no needing more of this series.
In fact, I don't want this World of True North series to ever end. And maybe a HBO/Netflix series needs to be made.
I need more Vermonty, cidery sexiness, STAT!

Now, I will say up front that I am not a huuuge fan of GFY romance, but Whit and Rainn were just all adorableness, and I quickly got over my GFY aversion.
Whit is just the bees knees. Lord, I laughed at his attempts to pop his cherry. He was so clueless and clunky, and you couldn't help but feel for the guy.
He's just too cute.. and too much for Rainn to ignore.
It was not all unicorns and rainbows, and poor Rainn has so much to work through before he could ever get his HEA - but he gets there!
The book covered nearly all parts of the True North world, with hockey, farm-life and Vino and Veritas, and I liked that all the worlds came together.
I need more of this series!

Ooooh, sexy undercover man, Alec.
But for me this was all about Gabe. Eliot Grayson had me from the minute I heard about Gabe's blue and purple hair haha. I know, I know, how shallow - but I loved him from that minute on.
I did get frustrated with this book (and not just this book, but any book with undercover and lying and waiting for the other shoe to drop. It takes me a little out of the story, as I am always wondering when the other person is going to find out, and how much it is going to break somebody's heart - but that is just a me thing.
But overall I adored them finding their way to each other - through books!
Whilst not my favourite in the V & V series, I still adored our lovelies and where their story ended up.

What a refreshing read Resolution Revolution was to me.
A wonderful tale of stepping out of your comfort zone, and the wonderful things that may come from that one giant leap for womankind.
Karen and Will are adorable, and sweet and sexy and a bag of chips. I don't think I stopped smiling the whole time I was reading.
Ms Mitchell has a knack for these kinds of stories, and I can't wait to see what else we get in the future.

I absolutely adored Only Mostly Devastated when it came out, so it was a no brainer for me to read Perfect On Paper.
I liked how this wasn't about how perfect everyone was. Our leading lady Darcy is anything but perfect, but really, are any of us? I think those that say they are are liar. We all have flaws, it is how we deal with them that makes us.
I adore Darcy's relationship with her sister Ainsley. But it is her relationship with Brougham that is the best.
I love the evolution of their relationship. For something that could have turned out nasty and bitter, it was just lovely to see their friendship bloom, and could it be something more?
Now, I am the first to admit that I am not the biggest fan of YA stories - and it is nothing to do with the stories, it is me being an old fart, old enough to have birthed these babies. However, the maturity of the characters jumps off the pages of Perfect On Paper. Sure we still get some juvenile, immature things, however for the most part they don't feel that young.
Brougham was all that and a bag of chips for me. I loved how his Australian-ness came through, and I laughed - and shared with my Aussie friends - the Aussie-isms that came through. I kept going back and readind them they amused me so much.
So many different kinds of relationships are dealt with in this book, and I felt that they were dealt with well.
I am really looking forward to whatever Ms Gonzales brings us next.

I am calling it - Aftermath is my favourite Vino and Veritas/World of True North book!
Brent and Jon's story is a lot heavier than the other books we have read so far - sure, they have all had their issues, but these guys guys them by the busload. I am not saying that in a bad way, just that their pasts are affecting them more than others.
I love how they kept seeing their relationship as a FWB thing for so long, when Blind Freddie could see that that was never their thing.
My heart hurt so much for Brent. As an old fart, I complain about aches and pain, but I could never imagine the mental strain being in constant pain. I ache just thinking about it.
I love these cuddle buddies - who doesn't love a good cuddle?
There are a couple of scene stealers that come into the story lateer, but you need to read to find out about them yourself.
This was one of those stories that I couldn't wait to turn the next page, but didn't want the story to end.
This series need to go on for eternity, I know I would keep reading.
