ARC received for an honest review

Book 1, Featherbed was a light and cute and funny story, and Heartscape was the opposite.

It was heavy and heartfelt and sad - but still completely adorable too.

Tanner and Jax are both suffering PTSD of some sort, and it is not always an easy read on my poor, soft heart. But it not all doom and gloom, and it is lovely watching along as they fall for each other. They are perfect for each other in their way, as they both heal themselves, and heal each other.

Gah, it was just lovely.

And has left me wanting, no needing more of this series.

In fact, I don't want this World of True North series to ever end. And maybe a HBO/Netflix series needs to be made.

I need more Vermonty, cidery sexiness, STAT!
