I really likes this ending. This is the last we will read from The Selection, but Kiera made it so that I have peace with it. Lovely, unexpected something.

I've enjoyed the read, but I was not suprised by her choice of husband. It was my far-fetched theory from book 4, and as it turned out, it was not that far-fetched. I like to be suprised in books like this, like in [b:The One|18635016|The One (The Selection, #3)|Kiera Cass|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1395612906s/18635016.jpg|21587145], but somehow this was not that good to me. But I did enjoy it a lot! Oh, and I love the character development!

What a great YA SciFi novel! I really like the idea of the story, and the book was very well-written. Will be reading [b:Enders|18588056|Enders (Starters, #2)|Lissa Price|https://d.gr-assets.com/books/1380213201s/18588056.jpg|19177727] soon, realy curious to that!

I've read this in one day, a whole lazy Sunday. Lovely, this is what Sundays are supposed to be made of :)

The first half of this book I did not like. It felt like a forced story. 1* for that part.

I almost quit reading when I was at 50%. I decided that late at night. The next morning, I didn't felt like getting out of bed right away, and my ereader was the only object within reach, so I decided to read some more. I'm really glad about that, the chapter from Lily's POV made me curious enough to keep on reading.

The ending felt a bit like the ending from book 1: this story is closed now, but there is a window for a next book. I don't think I will read more if I'm right, it just felt meh.

I started this book in Dutch, from the library. After an hour, I was completely in love with Ravka. So, I desided to buy the books. But in English paperback, because it was cheeper and I like stories in English most of the time better. You may wonder why I started in Dutch, but i prefer a hardcopy Dutch edition from the library over a digital English one.

So, after a week, I could finaly continue. Chapter two was amazing with the volcra and all the fantasyworld. And the powers.. I like the idea of the world. There was a lot of world building, but it could have been a bit more and a bit less love issues for my taste, but it was not annoying.

I liked the story, I'm really curious to the other books, but I think I have had enough fantasy lately, I don't want to get overdosed.

I started in this book because of a readalong. I wasn't sure at first this series was my cup of tea, but because all my Goodreadsfriend were reading it this month, I gave it a shot. I'm very gratefull for how it all went down, because I have found a lovely new world (and some really good looking books on my shelf!), but I'm going to read other books first now. I will defenitly return to those books later on.

The first half of this book was amazingly good. Actionpacked and suprising. So, I was really happy to have the second book in a trilogy without the second book syndrome.

But in the second half, it kicked in. It wasn't as addictive anymore, there was a lot of waiting and preparing. Which is realistic, but a bit boring to read about. The ending was really strong again, and I'm really curious as to what will happen in Ruin & Rising, but is just didn't felt like a 5* book. Nearly, but not nearly enough.

This was a really quick read, and very action-packed. I loved it. But the ending disappointed me a lot, which brought the rating down a lot. But it still is a really good YA SciFi duology that I highly recommend if you like this genre!

This was OK, but it added nothing really.

What an amazing ending to the best fantasy series I've read so far! I was shocked multiple times during this book, and I really love that! I highly recommend this series!

Oh this was really nice! This added character, which is a perfect thing for a novella to do, in very few pages as well. Really well done.
