I really liked the book set after this, Love, Utley so this short and sweet prequel was fun. It was cute seeing how Hannah and Maddox first met and both narrators are amazing and are always a pleasure to listen to.

This was one of those reads where not a lot happens and sometimes that works ok for me but it fell flat here. Natasha is really unlikable, she’s actually pretty awful and not in a fun to read about way. She has some serious issues and I feel like those were glossed over and not taken seriously enough. If a story doesn’t have a strong plot then I really need to see some great character development and again, that aspect was lacking for me. I did like the sarcastic humor and thought seeing how her job as a journalist who writes those clickbait articles was interesting but in the end that wasn’t enough for me.

This was absolutely adorable and there’s something about a billionaire visiting a small town that just always gets me. You can tell this is the first book in a new series because it’s laying the groundwork for future books and I enjoyed that because it’s fun to guess what may or may not happen next. Maple Falls is a cute little town and the charity hockey stuff was unique and a fun bonus for fans of sports romance. Ellie and Zach were great together and I appreciated that it took some time for them to pursue a relationship, it felt mature and authentic. This was quick, cute and flirty and also closed door so heads up there, but overall a charming little read.

I was so charmed by the authors last book, This Spells Love and I was charmed once again with this one, just in a different manner. I’m loving the trend of more romances with magical realism being traditionally published, there’s something so whimsical and fun about them that provides a true escape for me, so I hope this is a trend that continues because it really works for me. If you were a fan of 90s teen soaps/dramas on TV like I was you will enjoy the nostalgia this one brought! The idea that Brynn gets to not only visit the fictional show and town that brought her so much comfort over the years, but that she may be able to change the ending? SO fun and such a cute concept that totally delighted me. There’s nothing here that’s too heavy, it’s light and fun but also has depth in the characters and a solid romance that I was rooting for.

This was one of those entertaining and fast paced reads that was enjoyable enough, as long as you don’t mind a far fetched plot, which I don’t. Amber gets a sense right off that the couple staying next door to them is hiding something and I found myself siding with her husband when he just wanted her to leave them alone, so it was a little hard for me to connect with her at the start. She is a determined woman though and once she really started digging into Marc and Sophie things got interesting and I found myself more engaged and connected to her. Things spiral and again, go a bit off the rails but I had fun with the direction the author took and thought for pure entertainment purposes this was a twisty and enjoyable read.

This was such a cute and quirky debut! The premise was super fun and original and I loved how endearingly nerdy the whole thing was. The stakes were low which was actually refreshing, sometimes I just wanna read something fun and flirty and this fit the bill with the addition of super wacky yet entertaining conspiracy theories. Hayden was a total green flag, it was nice to see a MMC that is in touch with his emotions and has no problem being respectful to women always. Hallie won me over with her pop culture references and snarky personality, she was just fun. Overall an impressive debut and one I would recommend if you want something different.

I fell in love with the authors books when I stumbled upon her last series, she writes super steamy romance with southern charm, great banter and amazing MMC. When I saw her next series was going to be a cowboy romance set on a ranch I was beyond excited and this more than lived up to my expectations. Mollie and Cash dislike each other from their first meeting so this is a slow burn where it takes some time for them to open up and realize they might have a few things in common. I adored Mollie, she’s deep in grief after the death of her father and their relationship was complicated so her grief is complex too, my heart hurt for her. Cash is a hard ass cowboy and he’s grumpy and judgmental with Mollie and super impatient but as you slowly get to know him you realize there’s a softer side underneath his tough exterior. Their growth from enemies to slowly becoming friends to eventually lovers was sweet, sexy and adorable. It was such a strong start to a new series and made me super interested about the next books, Cash’s brothers seem like a whole lotta trouble and I can’t wait to read their stories!

This one was so entertaining and had just the type of juicy drama that I enjoy. It follows two best friends and mom influencers, Aspen and Meredith after they have an epic fight and are no longer speaking. This argument is the catalyst for both women to start behaving in a seriously unhinged manner and I loved that honestly. Meredith taught Aspen everything she needed to know about being an influencer and then when Aspen surpasses Meredith in follower count things go south, fast. The catty behavior was next level, there were some really good moments if you live for petty drama like me and the twists were really good and a few even caught me off guard. It went in surprising directions, think small little decisions that spiral out of control and that’s what happens here. If you liked the authors other book, I’m Not Done With You Yet I think you’ll enjoy this one too.

If you’re in the mood for a unique read this one has such a cool vibe and is definitely different than anything else I’ve read lately. I was a little hesitant when I saw it was about vampires but that aspect was actually fun and interesting for me. Part of what I really loved about the authors last book was the toxic female relationships and that’s a theme here too, and one I’ll never get tired of reading about. The London setting was also fun, especially the chapters set in the past and getting to see both Nicola and Amber’s POVs made their dangerous game of cat and mouse that much more fun for me. I loved the snarky humor and overall bitchy vibes here too, everything about it felt glamorous, catty and totally addictive
