I fell in love with the authors books when I stumbled upon her last series, she writes super steamy romance with southern charm, great banter and amazing MMC. When I saw her next series was going to be a cowboy romance set on a ranch I was beyond excited and this more than lived up to my expectations. Mollie and Cash dislike each other from their first meeting so this is a slow burn where it takes some time for them to open up and realize they might have a few things in common. I adored Mollie, she’s deep in grief after the death of her father and their relationship was complicated so her grief is complex too, my heart hurt for her. Cash is a hard ass cowboy and he’s grumpy and judgmental with Mollie and super impatient but as you slowly get to know him you realize there’s a softer side underneath his tough exterior. Their growth from enemies to slowly becoming friends to eventually lovers was sweet, sexy and adorable. It was such a strong start to a new series and made me super interested about the next books, Cash’s brothers seem like a whole lotta trouble and I can’t wait to read their stories!
