I really enjoyed the first book in this series last year and I found this one to be just as delightful. You can read this on its own but I so enjoyed catching up with the previous characters. Shelter Springs is the sweetest little town and I was once again charmed by the town and its residents. While this is plenty light and sweet there are also some dark moments to add depth as well. The market itself sounded adorable and there was so much holiday cheer and cuteness

This follows Frankie who can’t help herself, she is always meddling and trying to match up her friends and family, despite her own love life needing a boost. I really liked her, yes she butted into her friend’s lives which I’m sure would be annoying, but she seemed so kind and genuine and just like she truly cared. There is a large cast of characters with rich and cute storylines and plenty of holiday charm

If you are in the mood for an angsty and super emotional romance this one was fantastic! Both Charleigh and River have dark and dangerous histories and I could not turn the pages fast enough to learn more about their pasts. Both of them are super closed off because of this and seeing them slowly open up and trust in each other to build something beautiful together was so sweet. Two damaged people healing each other is one of my favorite things to witness and the author did an amazing job in crafting these two characters. River has formed his own family with his friends and I’m always a sucker for found family and these guys were all so fascinating, I can’t wait for their books. His sister, Raven was a ray of sunshine, I adored her and his son, Nolan was the cutest little guy. So much of this is dark so having these two bring some joy and light made a perfect balance for me. The suspense was also amazing, a few scenes had me on the edge of my seat and some of the reveals really had my jaw dropped. Such a strong start to a new series, I need the next book asap!

I’ve loved this series so much but I think the author kicked things up a few notches with this one, it was SO good! There has been a mystery running throughout this series and the Sullivan one and this installment provided a lot of insight and answers to questions I’ve been sooo curious about. Veda and Royal were one of those unlikely matches that actually work perfectly together and I loved their chemistry and overall dynamic. She’s a black cat and he’s a golden retriever and they embody those tropes to perfection. The author writes some of the best spicy scenes and this was no exception, so so hot! If you like small town, some suspense, quirky residents, secret relationships and spicy lessons this was so fun

If you don’t mind over the top domestic thrillers that have some ridiculous plot points this was fun! It’s fast paced and entertaining with lots of reveals and secrets and lies. Jodie Harris was an engaging narrator and I flew through this one in just a few hours.

This was a slow burn, character driven mystery that had many different layers and themes giving it tons of depth. It’s a quiet style of suspense, there’s not a ton of action but I still found the narrative to be compelling. I loved the themes of motherhood and the exploration of how far one would go to protect their children, this lead to so many secrets and fractures in both families and I was so curious to see how things would play out. You get two timelines, one in 2011 and one in 1987 and I was equally invested in both. The authors writing was strong and engaging and I’m impressed this was a debut, if you enjoy mysteries with some meat and substance with characters that will linger with you try this!

This book was so freaking cute, I loved it just as much as the first book and I cannot get enough of this group of single dads! Henley has three daughters and there was something about seeing this big, tough football player try to wrangle three girls that was beyond fun and adorable. Tru is his daughter’s teacher and despite her reservations about dating a parent of one of her students, they just can’t resist each other. I loved how they kept getting thrown together even though they tried to fight their feelings, they’re truly meant to be. I appreciated seeing healthy coparenting relationship between Henley and his ex and anytime the rest of the single dads were in a scene I was always cracking up. Book three can’t get her fast enough for me, so so cute!

It’s no secret I love and adore holiday romances and most of the time the ones I read tend to be light and fluffy with not much depth. That’s not a dig, it’s part of what I enjoy about them but this one was a nice change because while yes, it has light and fluffy moments it also deals with many serious issues and has a complexity that was a pleasant surprise for me.

This follows three siblings and their mother in the weeks leading up to the holiday and then shortly after so you get all the cheerful vibes and wintertime charm. Each sibling has a romantic subplot and I so enjoyed all of their stories. I’ve seen some complaints that there was too much going on and it was hard to keep track of but I didn’t have any issues. The secondary characters were just as wonderful as the main ones and I was charmed by how quirky and likable they all were. If you like family dramas set around the holidays this was so much fun!

This was such a fun romance, especially if you like a dash of mystery and cooking competitions because you get both. There was plenty of drama and secrets and the romance storyline was cute and spicy. Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East are two of the best narrators around and I’ll never turn down a book with them paired up, so good!
