This is classic Lisa Jewell and she always comes through with that last little twist that gets you. The girls kinda got on my nerves but I imagine that’s what they’re meant to do. Glad I finally caught up and read this one.

This book was everything! It was such a slow burn and then 🔥🔥🔥 INFERNO! I am a sucker for Just One Bed and this one didn’t miss. Workplace rivals is also one of my faves so that added to the joy. Tris was such a strong female presence- AANHPI, STEM, and a badass! Rage was a model for the he falls first trope and he was in hard! The Maui resort setting was perfect.
As for the audio, Soneela Nankani embodied Tris and did a great job as Rafe. I loved her narration!

This was a super creepy and suspenseful story! Alex North knows how to make awful men. It was atmospheric and I was pulled in immediately.
