Good Omens is one of those books everyone tells you to read because everyone loves it right? Well I’m glad I read it. I did enjoy it. But I wasn’t amazed.
It is chock full of the humour I like, and I have a feeling that comes mostly from Pratchett as I haven’t seen this kind of humour in the Gaiman I have read so far.
I also liked the premise. And the characters. But it was just good. Not great. Not magical. Not wonderful. Just good. And sometimes that’s good enough.

Enjoyable storytelling by King. Didn’t mind the ending, perhaps because I was somehow forewarned. Likeable old man characters seem to be what I like in Kings work.
