Truth be told I'm not a fan of OC main character x ruler of the Underworld, especially when you consider that mythological Hades was super monogamous and had a pretty impressively functional marriage (particularly compared to his family). But the setting was vivid and the plot wasn't half bad, though I still don't understand the title.

Proof that fanfiction can be a great, unique story with strong voice. The pink hair was a little too quirky for my taste, but the reversal of Good and Wicked was definitely disturbingly fascinating. Props for OC x OC romance; I'm not a fan of OC x canon character.

More awesome kickass Tandy Angel - only she's changed enough from the previous book to stay interesting, with lots left for the readers to learn about her. I loved her improved relationship with her twin, and te addition of romantic angst was well incorporated, too.

Typical Patterson kickass storyline. The suspense was just agh, frustrating but fitting; they might have had a bit too much fun with

thing, though who can blame them? The solution to the mystery I saw coming, but not the way they found out.

I barely got through this book - I actually resorted to SparkNotes, which I have never done through years of English class. The premise is morbidly fascinating and the characters' struggles relatable, plus the dialogue was great and brought the speakers to life. But I skimmed most of it - I'm not a fan of Hardy's style: overly verbose, and annoyingly extreme characters. (Also, I hate myself for reading this voluntarily.)

This one holds up to rereading. Judy (Jerusha) is a delightful protagonist, with her curiosity and stubbornness, and it's fascinating to see the world through her eyes. The ending has always seemed pretty obvious to me, so it's maybe a little frustrating that she doesn't realize who Daddy-Long-Legs is until the reveal (though
she admits herself that there were plenty of clues she missed along the way
), but the journey > the destination.

I've wanted to read this because of Dear Pen Pal. It's a lovely story, but it's super obvious who Daddy-Long-Legs is. For all the hype, though, Julia Pendleton actually doesn't seem as bad as Savannah Sinclair (in Dear Pen Pal) did; Judy's a fascinating character too.

Not at all what I expected. A refreshing broken-heart story, not cliche and still satisfactory in its romance and revenge. The characters were vivid, fascinating, and relatable; I imagine this book will be a great balm for my own broken heart in the future.

Ohhhhh my gosh, Percabeth in Tartarus. The couples were all really cute, as was the Hazel-Nico sibling fluff. And just Nico by himself <3 Loved the new deities and the familiar ones too! Can't wait for HoO...

The setting didn't really appeal to me, which is weird because it's a historical period that does interest me usually - maybe it just didn't make sense to me, when paired with this story. I definitely would not have expected

; that reveal was surprisingly fitting.
