Everyone needs a reminder to slow down, and children appreciate that slowing down sometimes more than adults do. This book might a little bit be more for hte grownups than the children, but I'm ok with that because it's also for the kids and it's a very sweet and well told story

The text of this book is fine, body positive and affirming. I like the message- "All bodies are good, it's important to know" and I appreciate the inclusion of people with various assistive devices and physical disabilities. BUT there is one big glaring issue. Not one person in this book is fat. Not one. And for that, I will never recommend this book to anyone.

Except for the part where I kinda wish this was a ghost story instead of a time travel one, this was great! I just got a little disappointed on that count, though I"m happy she ended up living a long happy life.
