A look that gets to smaller and smaller and even smaller bits of matter in biology before going bigger again, showing just how intricately complex our bodies are. Could benefit from some photography, but the illustrations are well done.

Solid, with the larger print and smaller print that allows for multiple levels of reading to enjoy the same book. A bit light on the actual content, though.

This puberty book is written clearly and concisely, with for all kid with all bodies and a clear description of trans experience as well, following a handful of named characters through the book.

A sweet start to an early chapter book series, very much along the same lines as the Rainbow Magic Fairies.

If I had liked even one of the characters this book would be a 4 or even a 5 star. But the characters are unfortunately flat and unappealing. Still, the magical system is wonderful, and I very much enjoyed learning about it.

too much pain. It's well written and the audio compellingly recorded, but the trauma got too heavy for me.

Repetitive, but a good representation of his artwork.

Alternate history that reads in many of the best ways like Connie Willis' To Day Nothing of the Dog. I was begging for the ending to end the way I wanted it too and it was almost too much to hope for, and then it was accomplished! Almost, not completely, but it's ok. Enough is left to the imagination that I will presume the bedroom dynamics work the way I wish them to. SO delicious.

I love this strange little journey of self discovery. Maybe written a little more allegorically than is quite right for children, but I can' stop turning it over and over in my mind.

Science education at its finest. How big are things? How far away? Why do models lie?
