This story left me with a deep glowing warmth. The wold building unfortunately feels more like an allusion to lots of different stories than one cohesive thing, but the art is so beautiful and the message about the importance of community so important that I'm going to give it 5 stars anyway. What a gorgeous little tome. 

Cute, a bit too on the nose, but still well done. I appreciate the idea that if Cinderella stood up for herself, things could go a good bit differently. 

Emotions and healing, and on seeing oneself reflected in nature. The images mesh perfectly with the words. 

Very well drawn, and it was nice to see some of my own experiences as oldest of a large gaggle reflected so accurately. I rarely see that part of myself reflected in literature. That said, I feel the story could have gone a bit deeper, it all seemed fairly surface level. 

Count the cats in Spanish, learn how to count, and get some giggles in too. 

Gorgeous art, lyrical text, not much of a story to go with the art though. 

Very sweet story about doing the job because it needs to be done. 

Solid adventure book, treads no new territory but that's ok with me. 

A very important book about the experience of childhood sexual abuse with clearly illustrated models for how to be a supportive friend or sibling to one who has experienced sexual abuse. Resources in the back of the book. 

A very sweet depiction of grief, and how to be with someone through their pain.
