Is Lee Winter possibly becoming my favourite sapphic romance author? Very possibly. I love the balance of plot, romance and character development in her books. This had a great mystery that allowed the characters to naturally grow and fall in love as the plot went along. Perfect!

Mostly justified its considerable length. Can overlook the fact that the characters are politicians because a) politicians and CEOs are just a romance stable, and b) it apparently started as a Game of Thrones fic. Not sure why the brother needed to be a cop, but maybe he was based on the knight Ser Loras? Needed a bit more editing, catching the times that words were repeated too closely together. But I loved the characters and the character development, and the length of the book really allowed us to delve into the characters and situations.

This is one of the best sapphic romances I have read. I love a romance where the characters become close friends before the romance starts in earnest, and this was perfect. I also loved just how funny this book was! And they listened to Otyken!

Bachelorette Number Twelve was already my favourite novel so far by Jae, and this is my favourite of her short stories. So gorgeous!
