A ~spicy~ second chance, forbidden romance with all the drama. Immediately it was obvious Jasper and Cole were next level soulmate connection, and I loved all the possessive jealousy. I wished there was a little more to their time before, but I enjoyed all the angst and drama of their reconnection.

•minor spoilers•

Jasper left Cole 6 years ago and has been punishing himself ever since. When I first heard about this for some reason I thought Cole was the one who was married, so that was a fun surprise. I liked Jasper and he obviously needed to do a lot of work on himself, but his martyr-ness dragged on a bit. I thought Cole was going to be crazy alpha-like, but was nicely surprised again when he was so very caring, sweet, and supportive to Jasper (though in the bedroom I wouldn't exactly call it "sweet"). Their connection was very palpable, and if we had more of their beginnings I think it would've made it an easy 5 stars for me.

There was lots of drama and angst and all the fun of having two people intensely in love with each other rekindle their relationship. I think Daniel's character was a bit of a caricature of a villainy husband, but it made it a lot easier to root for Jasper and Cole. I'm very curious in how Leland and Franklin will play out because I did not see anything like that coming.

I really enjoyed this story for what it was. A look into someone trying to overcome the insecurities and grief of having your partner fall out of love with you after a decade. Which is really freaking scary when you think about it. Edwin meets Adam and comes to terms with some things that he had been holding back, with the help of the ever fun old lady neighbor and a small natural disaster.

I thought it was written really well in the mindset of Edwin. He has a distinct voice which really came across in his internal monologue. I can see how some people aren't fans, but to me it just seems like that's his character and how he talks. Maybe a bit pretentious but when you're surrounded by old books and don't talk a lot, it's pretty easy to form your own little world. I loved how genuine and kind Adam was. This wasn't an epic love story, it was more of part 1 of long romance that will go on after the story ends. I think they fit really well together, and to me the beginning of their story is the epic part.

Very loosely connected to Glitterland, sadly no Essex accent, but enjoyable nonetheless.

A low-angst sweet romance between two friends and college roommates. As always I'm a sucker for a sweet nerdy guy and the guy who is protective and crazy about him, so it hit all the marks. I really wish this title was different though, it was not a factor in choosing this book. 😂

•minor spoilers•

Finn is a cute nerd who loves astronomy. Like a lot. I learned so many random facts about stars and planets in this book. Beck is the more outgoing, endearing roommate across the hall who wants to help him be more outgoing and ends up falling for him. I would say there's a touch of angst between Beck being super protective in the beginning, and then struggling with coming out about his sexuality. Sweet, happy ending though.

The plot was mostly character driven and surrounding their relationship. It was pretty surface level, nothing too deep or crazy going on. There were a few editing mistakes but one I can't brush off is when Finn is dancing at the LGBT club night, one of the the guys that he's dancing with name kept changing. Dexter/Drew, this comment's for you.

I think this is going to be a quick and fun series. I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of the guys!

A cute and quick workplace romance. It was okay all around, nothing dramatic or angsty. I didn't feel any connection with the MCs really, but I didn't not like them. This is my second read by this author that I was not the biggest fan of so I'm thinking we just don't mesh. I would recommend it if you want a fast, cute, low angst read with some good spice.

I did like Shea. He was pretty endearing and cute. I would probably liked Roman better if we had his POV, but he just seemed okay to me. I didn't really get why Shea liked him, he seemed to take most of his insults as compliments. I just didn't feel their connection that much, and it seemed to happen really quickly.

I liked the whole story enough, the ending definitely picked up. The whole designer industry was pretty interesting too. It was just repetitive - talking about how clumsy Shea is or how grumpy Rowan is. And I didn't feel invested in the story really. Nothing was bad about it, I just don't think I vibe with this author's writing style, as this is the second one I've read by her where I didn't connect with the characters.
