A low-angst sweet romance between two friends and college roommates. As always I'm a sucker for a sweet nerdy guy and the guy who is protective and crazy about him, so it hit all the marks. I really wish this title was different though, it was not a factor in choosing this book. 😂
•minor spoilers•
Finn is a cute nerd who loves astronomy. Like a lot. I learned so many random facts about stars and planets in this book. Beck is the more outgoing, endearing roommate across the hall who wants to help him be more outgoing and ends up falling for him. I would say there's a touch of angst between Beck being super protective in the beginning, and then struggling with coming out about his sexuality. Sweet, happy ending though.
The plot was mostly character driven and surrounding their relationship. It was pretty surface level, nothing too deep or crazy going on. There were a few editing mistakes but one I can't brush off is when Finn is dancing at the LGBT club night, one of the the guys that he's dancing with name kept changing. Dexter/Drew, this comment's for you.
I think this is going to be a quick and fun series. I'm looking forward to getting to know the rest of the guys!
