A cute and quick workplace romance. It was okay all around, nothing dramatic or angsty. I didn't feel any connection with the MCs really, but I didn't not like them. This is my second read by this author that I was not the biggest fan of so I'm thinking we just don't mesh. I would recommend it if you want a fast, cute, low angst read with some good spice.

I did like Shea. He was pretty endearing and cute. I would probably liked Roman better if we had his POV, but he just seemed okay to me. I didn't really get why Shea liked him, he seemed to take most of his insults as compliments. I just didn't feel their connection that much, and it seemed to happen really quickly.
I liked the whole story enough, the ending definitely picked up. The whole designer industry was pretty interesting too. It was just repetitive - talking about how clumsy Shea is or how grumpy Rowan is. And I didn't feel invested in the story really. Nothing was bad about it, I just don't think I vibe with this author's writing style, as this is the second one I've read by her where I didn't connect with the characters.
