I've heard this is one of Cora's spiciest books yet and y'all weren't wrong. These guys have explosive chemistry, low angst, and Cora's trademark fun moments.

Ben is tired of living his life by the rules and starts up a physical relationship with both of his dad's best friends. He dreams of the day they can all be together, while terrified of it at the same time. When they find out about the other, Ben's big dreams might just come true or come crashing down.

This was an entertaining read, but it was mostly spice. Nothing wrong with that, there just wasn't much going on outside of it. I was really invested at the beginning because Ben starts his relationships with the guys separately, and there's the whole "when will they find out" tension. Once that happened it was mostly spicy fun times. I loved Ford and Cash's protective nature and their friendship. I think the dynamic worked so well because they were best friends before and started toeing that line themselves. With Ben in the mix, everything worked seamlessly and fell together very naturally.

I definitely recommend for a short, fun, spicy read, and also if you want to visit with some of the recent characters in this series. We get the crazy ladies at the nursing home, Lex and Emery, Angel and his mafia dad and were introduce to new characters like Tatum. Hopefully we get some good upcoming stories!

I liked this first in this series okay and was interested in these two characters but didn't feel a rush to read it. It turns out this is such a cute, heartwarming story. I can see it being a comfort read for me for sure.

Wes moved to Blackcreek to help his sick sister. He and Braden had a one night stand weeks before, but Braden can't seem to stay away from the one man who so easily snuck away in the night. When Wes loses his sister and gains custody of his four year old niece, Braden wants to help Wes. Wes is closed off, afraid of losing more people in his life, but Braden might've have found the one person that makes him want to put down roots.

Braden is a very happy go lucky kind of guy, while Wes likes to hold his cards close to his heart. There's a push and pull throughout the whole book and you can feel both of them slowly giving in to each other the more time they spend with one another. Wes wants to put everyone else above himself, but Braden charms Wes by being so kind and thoughtful to not only Wes but Jessie as well. They all form the cutest family. It's the little moments and undeniable chemistry that make them fall for each other.

This book just made me feel good and happy. Braden's family was sweet and I enjoyed the Cooper and Noah cameos. We finally get introduced to Mason, and I'm really curious about how Gavin comes back to Blackcreek and how that all plays out in the next book.

I wasn't quite sure what to expect because I went into this book pretty blind, but dang was it a steamy one. Interesting characters that have no lack of chemistry.

Jax, a recently-ish divorced ex-cop, is hired as a handler for pop/rock star Gideon York after a scandal involving photographs of Gideon leaving a BDSM sex club. Jax is no stranger to the scene, but has always considered himself straight. As they head to Europe to finish Gideon's tour, Jax is immersed in the rockstar lifestyle and finds himself becoming more curious about how he could potentially handle all the needs of the submissive musician.

Jax and Gideon have a pretty perfect dynamic. Jax spends a good portion of the book going on about how straight he is, but once he got over that hurdle they fit together pretty seamlessly. Gideon is insecure about how he likes his physical intimacy and is a bit jaded about forming relationships with people, but he knows from the start the Jax is different. They are both flawed characters who find passion and understanding in one another.

This book has a good amount of MF and MFM scenes, which I didn't know going in but I also didn't mind it. I think they worked really well with Jax's character development and sexual awakening. What I didn't love was Jax's relationship with his ex. I know they were besties, but I didn't like how he handled certain things when it came to his ex and Gideon. There was some miscommunication I didn't love that kind of brought it down for me.

I read in the author's note that she just wrote it and put it out into the world with no betas, arcs, anything which is wildly brave and I think accounts for some of the little editing mistakes. I thought the characters were really interesting and even though there was a lot of spice, I didn't feel like it was two overpowering given the characters were very sexual people. I'm interested in the other books and the series and how her writing develops as it goes on.

funny hopeful lighthearted

This book was an absolute joy, I don't remember the last time I laughed so much during a book. This is probably my favorite Saxon series, and I love all of these characters!

Rush goes to surprise his boyfriend for their one year anniversary and gets a surprise for himself when he interrupts him hosting his fiancée and fiancée's family. Things get ever worse when he realizes that his ex-boyfriend's now ex-fiancé is his new boss. Trying to make the best out of the situation, they decide to team up for revenge against their horrible ex, but realize they have a lot more in common than just a past lover.

Rush and Hunter are both sweethearts. Rush is trying his best to manage his ADHD and has a naturally trusting nature that was taken advantage of by his ex. Hunter takes the time to understand how Rush works and appreciates how genuine and honest Rush is - especially as Hunter is dealing with trust and self worth insecurities of his own after his fiancée turned out to be the worst. I just love how they appreciated the qualities in the other that others took for granted. They absolutely adore one another and had some really cute swoony moments.

This group of guys are so fun and endearing. They are always there for each other, and I love that even though they find themselves in new relationships they always make time for one another. With these characters there's not shortage of laughs and adorable moments all around. This series shows such a great found family, and I'm really looking forward to the next books.
