Recieved this book for free through Amazon. I'm not the demographic for this and I don't have children. Gave it a quick read anyway. 

I adored it! The most beautiful illustrations paired with a lovely true story that pulled on my heart strings. 

Beautiful art and a fast paced Hades and Persephone re-telling. At first, I was a little disappointed with how quickly it went by however, I understand this is just volume 1. Can't wait to pick up the sequel and continue this story. 

Wonderfully presented book that covers some very difficult topics. However, I don't think I was the target audience for this book and unfortunately I don't think the people who need this book will ever pick it up. Excellently written. 

Naomi runs off on her wedding day to a small town to help her twin sister and finds herself in loads of trouble. Her sister abandoned her daughter and robbed Naomi. To top it all off, local grump, Knox, has made it his personal mission to take care of Naomi and he isn't happy about it. 

This book was far better than I ever expected. A slow start but it tugs on your heart the whole way through. I would have given it 5⭐ however the ending was a little rushed and unbelievable. I am hoping there is more to come in the future. I want to read about all these small town people.

A complicated and truly real love story. Lots of triggers for this book from beginning to end, and if you are sensitive to specific topics then I suggest staying away from this book. However, if you want some excellent writing and story-telling about difficult relationships then read this! I went into this book knowing absolutely nothing, so some issues hit me very hard and I was not prepared. I am excited for the next novel! 

I went into this book expecting it to be a 5⭐ read which may be why I was a bit disappointed. I felt like it could have either been like 100-200 pages shorter or they could have shifted the story to focus more on the blood rite. 
Either way, I was happy with this installment but felt it fell a bit flat compared to the previous books. I also hope this isn't the last one the series as there are still SO many unanswered questions and plotlines. 

A solid middle of the road book. The plot was pretty decent, lots of laughs throughout and I loved all the characters/all the bridgerton kids. However, the books not written that great. It's very surface level and never gets to that emotional place that a great romance does. Ive also heard time and time again that these books are really spicy but they are lackluster, and I think that has to do with the writing style. 

Picked this up on audio. Beautiful prose, however hard to understand or fully appreciate via audio. Maybe need to give this another go with a physical version.

What was this!?! I was expecting a female forward/feminist fantasy stories about revenge. Instead I got a ton of stories that were unresolved and not connected. I only enjoyed about 3-4 out of the whole book. Highly disappointed.

A quick conversational read on what it means to be a feminist and why it's important. 
The only downfall is it's too short. I would have loved a more in depth look into the authors views. Still a stunning read.
