This was just not for me. I'm not the target audience. I was bored and not interested.

This will make you question what you know and think about feminism. An absolutely great manifesto on what it means to be a feminist for the 99% and how to be a feminist ally.
I picked this up on audio and thought it was wonderful, however I am definitely going to need to do a re-read with a physical version so I can better capture all of the content.

An absolutely must read (or listen!)
Acevedo does it again and even better than before. I gave this a go via audiobook and thought it was fantastic. It brought me to tears multiple times.

This was such a typical run of the mill thriller. It wasn't bad, but wasn't memorable. I tried it on audio and felt a bit confused near the end with the addition of so many characters and back story.
(Also Grady was the ONLY logical person in the whole book!)

There certainly isn't anything wrong with this book, it's the lightest in the series and focuses on the winter solstice holiday. However, I found the plot to be missing. It didn't do much to move the story along, it didn't resolve any lingering questions from the first three novels. Definitely a light fun read if you just want to touch base with the characters but I thought this was a bit unnecessary.

My favorite installment thus far in this series. As long as this book was I actually was left wanting more.
I wanted more stories or POV from our side characters whether that was Amren, Lucian or even Tamlin.
Even though I was left wanting more I felt this was the best book so far. It was funny, emotional, adventurous, etc.

I think I'm too dumb for this book.
I truly don't understand most of what I read and the ending was extra confusing. I need someone to break that down for me.
What I thought I was getting was a book about a director with chronic pain and a pill addiction trying to put on the play All's Well That Ends Well but her cast is hellbent on doing Macbeth.
Instead, I got a lot of droning on and on about chronic pain, potentially a deal with the devil and lots of magic? Or was she just going crazy?
I also don't know what I was supposed to get out of this. What is the lesson? Enjoy life, enjoy your youth? I'm just not sure.

Read this as an audio book and highly recommend. Audio books are always best when read by the author. Abby puts in the right amount of heart and knowledge. This is inspiring yet fluffy.

I definitely loved this more than the first installment in the series. Adventurous, action-packed and beautifully written.
Not a fan of the complete slaughter of some peoples character development...
But also a BIG fan of the romantic developments made.
Can't wait to pick up the next one.

I put this off for so long due to it's popularity. I thought it was over hyped and no way it could be as good as everyone claimed it. However I wasn't disappointed.
There were a few times this book frustrated me (Feyres obstinate actions, the riddle, weak villain development, long descriptive writing and what felt like insta-love between our MCs) but for all the things that I hated, I loved so much more.
I was completely pulled into this world and I can't wait to continue on with the series.
