This is not at ALL what I expected. I wanted a cozy mystery with old women spies. And instead I got a really serious assassin book with a feminist twist. Disappointed because it wasn't what I was looking for. I could see why others may like this. 

This was...ok. I've read a lot of memoirs and this one wasn't anything groundbreaking. I had a few laughs, since the author is witty and comical. But I felt like this was missing some depth. I wasn't captivated and just wanted it to be over. 

This was an epic, non linear, multi POV horror novel that gripped me until the end. 

This is really like a 3.5. 

I was absolutely shocked at how much I enjoyed this. I got this for free in one of those random stuff your kindle days. I thought this was original, fun and a quick read. I would rate it higher but I do think it was a little repetitive and could have been wrapped up in one book. I see it's a whole series and now I feel compelled to read them all. 

I've never read a memoir so fast. This was beautiful, dripping in culture, family dynamics and the love. I want to read this over and over again. 

The most boring thriller of all time. Every single chapter is the same I information repeated over and over again. I didn't find this interesting, mysterious or thrilling. 

This book pissed me off. I had high expectations for this author after The Silent Patient but the following two books has been such a disappointment. The way this book was written came across as so juvenile. Also it was predictable, within the first few chapters I had guessed that

Elliot was the murderer and he was writing this from jail.

I might be done with this author. 

So far this is the funniest installment in this series. Loved it!!

I've never read a horror book with so much romance. Nestor > any other book boyfriend! The slow burn romance was done so well. Also there are freaking vampires! And not just any run of the mill, copy paste from other books kind of vampires, but truly unique. 

A cute sapphic romance/fake dating plot. However, the ending was a bit rushed and the writing was a bit dated. I do think I'll continue with the series though.
